I have it on excellent authority that the club will soon announce the return of a recently-retired favourite son in a coaching / off-field capacity.

Jones or Brayshaw?!

Allen Jakovich teaching players how to kick?

Can't wait to hear what Nathan Carrol has been up to

I for one applaud the return of Daniel Nicholson as kicking coach.

In all seriousness, I'm sure this relates to the talks we had with N.Jones a couple of weeks ago.

The elation for some who can't wait to put the boot into Watts as he returns to the club .

It's time to forgive and forget people.

Just not so sure it was a great idea to include big Phil as head of recruiting at JT's expense but anyway, welcome home Tom Scully.

Welcome back David Mc Glashan, who Jack Dyer once said was a General forward talent!!

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

For a brief period of time in the early afternoon of yesterday, the Casey Demons occupied top place on the Smithy’s VFL table. This was only made possible by virtue of the fact that the team was the only one in this crazy competition to have played twice and it’s 1½ wins gave it an unassailable lead on the other 20 teams, some of who had yet to play a game.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

In my all-time nightmare game, the team is so ill-disciplined that it concedes its first two goals with the courtesy of not one, but two, fifty metre penalties while opening its own scoring with four behinds in a row and losing a talented youngster with good decision-making skills and a lethal left foot kick, subbed off in the first quarter with what looks like a bad knee injury.

  • PREGAME: Geelong

After a one-year reprieve, the Demons return down the freeway to Kardinia Park — the site of both one of our greatest triumphs and one of our darkest days — as they face the Cats under Friday night lights. This one could get ugly. Who comes in, and who comes out?
