A lot of people here are taking the opportunity to roast Lamb.

Should he be hauled over the coals?

Or do we give him another season?

Trade radio just said to keep an eye on Jimmy Bartel and Melbourne.

I am certainly not against this alternative option instead of pursuing Graham Wright.

But what role would Jimmy Bartel have at the Demons?

I remember hearing he stepped down as football director at the Giants? For what I can tell he mainly does media work now doesn't he?

Yeah it's a tough one, one thing he does have is experience in a few off field roles. List management at Bris, assisting with the appointment of Kingsley at GWS etc.

If there is a good fit for him I think he could offer a lot and that goes for anyone as I believe Collingwood are keen as well.

If there is even a skerrick of truth to the reason that Clarry’s name keeps poking up due to trying to get his salary and contract off the books, then Lamb has to go.

He was already on shaky ground, but to be a big cause in one of our greatest players exiting, I’d want him gone asap.

No proof of that yet. It’s Perty that is being alleged guilty of that crime.

Hang on, this makes little sense.

You want Lamb gone because he tied up "one of our greatest players" to a long term deal?

Roast Lamb over the coals with some seasoning.

We are talking about the menu at family day right?

You know it makes sense….

If Lamb is trying to get him off the books after a year, resulting in us getting less than satisfactory compensation as a result, then yeah.

The searching questions hurled at  Tim  Lamb today appear to reveal a catastrophic situation within the Club. Those in football management had no intention of losing Oliver , yet others, and apparently Pert, have indicated he might be traded.  He has been permitted to visit Geelong, mingle with their players etc. Then he announces he will stay with MFC! The word shambles is being bandied around and IMV it is justified. If we didn’t all love the club so much we’d be bursting our sides laughing . Yet the CEO  has  said nothing. The President has announced Oliver is staying but offered no explanation as to how this farce occurred. Whilst the present situation continues our club is doomed for 2025 and beyond . Time cannot be allowed to run on, whilst the  Reviews   are conducted. We need an explanation NOW . If the CEO was acting on his own initiative then he should very carefully consider his positions

And where is that Pert was doing this on his own can you point me to that.

No to Graham Wright

We have seldom  won with pies cast offs.

Pretty sure that trend started with our short folly with Fabulous Phil Carmen

Heritier Lumumba, Brody Grundy and Ben Kennedy in more recent memory. Reputations and controversies aside none really met with expectations. Digging deeper, Henry Coles and Peter Moore both played 77 games with the Demons. Moore winning a second Brownlow (his second) during the 1984 season, suggests a more successful transition. Henry Coles and Phil Carmen shared a mutual propensity for confrontation with Carl Dietrich.

The other way Demons to Pies, *Ross Brewer, Taj Woewodin and currently Jeremy Howe. Brewer and Woewodin were in the twilight of their careers. Howe's continues with a premiership in 2023.

* Ross Dellamarta and Wayne Gordon were traded to MFC from the pies for Brewer.

So if over time, the participants contributions post trade to their new homes are weighed up. The balance may not be as some posters purport to be, so one sided in Collingwood's favour.

I felt dreadfully sorry for Tim Lamb.

Great call.

The interview wasn't as diabolical as the Age's headline, but this club are ametuers when it comes to media management.

Tim Lamb sent out to answer ovbious questions, fully unprepared by Media dept., where were they, and why do any media anyway. You're just giving the bottom- feeders oxygen.

Communicate via controlled channels to members. Everyone else are just passers by to a car crash and don't care anyway.

Big weakness in CEO's performance IMO.
