fkking joke

just a hiccup for the good Geelong boy

Cats will regret their weak and unsupportive approach to Tyson’s situation. they care about winning, that’s all

Can you imagine if this was CO! Makes me so angry

Oh but I thought Sydney were gonna win it because we gave them JJ and Grundy for free 🙄

Blues could end the round in 8th with a loss. They were second a couple of weeks ago, crazy.

madness

Cats could have been out of the 8 if they lost by end of round but are 2nd now

I really wish the AFL would make Carlton wear some poxy alternative jumper against Collingwood.

Blues fans probs hate it but this is what they should’ve worn tonight…

46-18 contested possessions to Port

Not sure I’ve ever seen this

Don’t think Heeney needs to worry about Brownlow issues. He is back in the pack of decent mids

Yeah or something like that really bad m and m jumper. More just to [censored] their supporters off than anything.

The joy of Hinkley for another season at Port 😇

Sydney making our performance last night look ok. Finding this much easier to watch though.

Knees up against Cox. Just never any of the 2000 he did to Maxy. Corrupt.

Where are the “Port will smash us by 93 next week” posts?

Has to be an all time record for Swans to be zero scoring shots at almost half time?!?

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. And I've followed Melbourne for most of my life.

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
