Mmm, everyone notice how good the hi-def video slow mos are in the Olympics.

The tech is available but nope.

Put a fork in us!

80 Point thrashing coming up

Oliver to be managed or Casey.

His disposal work is terrible and decision making even worse.

We genuinely should be 50 points down.

How the [censored] are they walking thru every tackle? Are we made of paper?

What's happened to our tackling over the last month or two? It feels as though opposition players break out of them way too easily.

We are reacting.

So many tackles where we are moving towards a dog's player.

Easy to step around or shake.

And not low enough...easy to shrug.

Our tackles tonight have been so bloody soft it's embarrassing.

Deplorable

Clarry doesn’t want to be out there. Missed tackles, overrunning the football, just getting rid of it at all costs. He’s a liability. Would’ve much rathered seen Kynan Brown get a gig. Desperate for tackles that stick atm

So much dumb footy, after the slow play finally worked we went back to max speed stuff.

We’ve got a young backline and a midfield that can’t run. Slow down and play some tempo.

Yeah unlike us.

Oliver a shadow of himself. Sad to see, end of the season can't come soon enough for him.

I hope Binman can finally stop the delusion and accept this season is a bust.

Looking forward to March 2025.

Goody needs to put a [censored] big rocket up em at the huddle. I want the towels rushed out after to wipe the spray off. I can forgive some play but this is not good enough.
No wonder [censored] all rocked up last week.

Chandler overated.

Kozzie overpaid.

It’s like we don’t want to get suspended from tackling them.
Just get in there FFS

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?
