Solid, committed Demons footy. Got reward for effort and very much deserve this lead.

In my view that should not have been HTB against ward.   Terrible umpiring. Shows no appreciation of football

thats a harsh HTB against the Giants player. no prior. not sure what he was meant to do in that situation.

Good start Dees, now back to the Boomers!

Not much to like about that!

We rarely do goals these days. Not in the gameplan. Just look at Casey

🤔 Ummm.😄

Kingsley has them in a huddle.  Think they're copping a spray.

Thanks for the boomer updates.

Just post the final score for me, thanks

Great start

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

It's Game Day and the Demons face a monumental task as they take on the top-of-the-table Magpies in one of the biggest games on the Dees calendar: the King's Birthday Big Freeze MND match. Can the Demons defy the odds and claim a massive scalp to keep their finals hopes alive?

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
