Just remember to fully rip that secret seam open before leaping over the fence and swing from the bleachers yeh!

    I feel sick about this, would love to see us win but after last weeks debacle I have little faith.

    Hope to see us at least play with some run and energy….have looked pretty flat this season apart from some decent patches

    I'm not sure the lads will go after Maynard today. It will be interesting to see what will happen. Have they been given directions to just play the ball or will Goody use the incident to rev them up?

    There is the distinct possibility we will be sidetracked by the Maynard thing but it will probably be worth it. A blokes career was stolen from him so it warrants recompense. My monies on JV or JvR and a rare outburst from CP.

    I wouldve played May forward today on Mayturd.

    Fullo in for Petty.

    JVR in for Hunter.

    Turner down back but off the bench to cover the Rivers role when he's pushed into the middle.

    Tommo stays in to play the May role.

    This needed to be a statement game in more ways than one.

    "We should've smoked em" needs to be followed up with actions on the field.

      Melbourne’s slow starts have been a troubling theme for a while. Against the Suns, they started slowly in both of their games, they trailed by 5.7.37 to 0.1.1 at quarter time at Peoples First Stadium in Round 16. This season, the story has remained the same and if the Demons fail to shake off this issue against the unbeaten Gold Coast Suns, they will be in serious danger of capitulating once again in their Easter Sunday showdown.
