I actually do keep a baseball bat by my front door and a cricket bat by my bed. My son thinks it’s hilarious that I provide weapons for home invaders so as they don’t have to byo.

Also, are duffle coats even still a thing??!

Don't worry i won't tell anyone WC.  I like how you're being so innocent and coy though.  Right up to the last minute.

Just remember to fully rip that secret seam open before leaping over the fence and swing from the bleachers yeh!

They have some tickets now. I secured a ticket but reach out as they're looking to sell quickly.

Thanks for the tip  - have just emailed them.

I feel sick about this, would love to see us win but after last weeks debacle I have little faith.

Who's paying for the bail and the fine ?

I'm sure we could all pass the hat and soften the blow( not on Maynard of course,).

I'm not sure the lads will go after Maynard today. It will be interesting to see what will happen. Have they been given directions to just play the ball or will Goody use the incident to rev them up?

There is the distinct possibility we will be sidetracked by the Maynard thing but it will probably be worth it. A blokes career was stolen from him so it warrants recompense. My monies on JV or JvR and a rare outburst from CP.

I wouldve played May forward today on Mayturd.

Fullo in for Petty.

JVR in for Hunter.

Turner down back but off the bench to cover the Rivers role when he's pushed into the middle.

Tommo stays in to play the May role.

This needed to be a statement game in more ways than one.

"We should've smoked em" needs to be followed up with actions on the field.

Go Dee’s.  Just go out there do it for the jumper, your personal pride, Neale, the blue beanie, the Demon Army, all Demonlanders and the rest of our supporter base, and for the good of our great game itself!

A 5 point win today guys after a great contested pack mark by Petty (over the top of Maynard) and a 45m goal kicked after the siren. Happy days!

And drops a knee into the back of the p...s head

we’ll be down by 1 point with 5 seconds left.

Ricky Petterd will come from the bench and MARK that ball in the square!

Collingwood are injury riddled and we are playing with zero injuries to our best 22.

Should only be one outcome...but??

Lever not in your best 22?

I still understand your point tho. We should win today. No excuses.

Must tag Nick daicos

But Goodwin hates a tag

Sidebottom always kills us, shut down him and Nick Daicos and they won't have much more firepower.

not sure tagging Goodwin would help their cause but it would be fun to watch!

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! It’s Indigenous Round for this game and the chance to celebrate and engage with Aboriginal and Torres

2024 Player Reviews: #35 Harry Petty

Failed to fulfill the promise of his breakout six goal effort against the Tigers in 2023 and was generally disappointing as a key forward. It remains to be seen whether Simon Goodwin will persevere with him in attack or return him to the backline where he was an important cog in the club’s 2021 premiership success. 2024 Player Reviews: #22 Blake Howes

After a bright start to the season, playing mostly in defence, Howes seemed to lose his way in midseason but fought back with some good performances at Casey and finished the year back at AFL level. Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Unfortunately, didn’t quite get there although he did finish equal sixth in Casey’s best and fairest award. Date of Birth: 23 February 1999 Height: 198cm Games CDFC: 14 Goals CDFL: 13

2024 Player Reviews: #10 Angus Brayshaw

Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed. 2024 Player Reviews: #40 Taj Woewodin

The son of former Demon Brownlow Medalist Shane, Taj added a further 16 games to his overall tally of games but a number were as substitute. He is slowly fitting into the team structure but without doing anything spectacular and needs to take further steps forward in 2025 for his career to progress.
