7PM match at the GABBA on Sunday night? Seriously htf did that get through to the final fixture?

It's a public holiday Monday in Queensland

Very difficult weekend for tipping. Most of the games look very close, while the others are open for boilovers.

Crows to beat Port tonight.

Isn’t every Monday a holiday in Vegas? For the construction industry it is…, and if it rains on Sunday they get paid double time for a day they don’t work and if it’s over 22 degrees they all go home 😳😜😜😬😬

Good luck the Olympic 2032..

I wonder when they're going to stop counting the number of showdowns they're currently up to?

Go crowbots.

At the risk of going the early crow, this was the message I sent my mate I punt with beforethe game:

'I am really bullish about the crows to make their line. In fact, I think they'll win.

Showdowns are like finals. Which always evens things up and means a hard contested game. Which I think suits the crows.

But the main reason is port's injuries. Key players out in alir and Powell Pepper. And rozee is surely ginger.'

This was my mates reply:

I like them, but not quite as confident, $ Crows +5.5.

Good luck to him. I hope a win (to Adelaide) comes his way. Suits the Dees too 😉

How is this not holding the ball?

As holding the ball as it gets, and they are risking the player being slung to the ground by not paying it in time.

Port can't score. Why they have Dixon in their side is a joke.

Crows playing the better team game.

JHF needs to stop playing as 'JHF' and actually watch the ball.

he's so much like buckley - wants to do it all

he's not even the first or second best mid in their side

Port are such a flakey side, never know what you will get from them. As for the Crows, they are always up for playing Port.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
