Wonderful to see the Magpie Army sticking fat until the end. 😂 Can you imagine the commentary from BT, Brayshaw etc if that was a Melbourne crowd?

F$%k Sydney. Same every year. Bunch of rugby rejects that choke free flowing football.

Sydney, GWS & Carlton do look go, but no-one is premiers in March. A lot of good teams haven't hit their stride yet.

The question for the Pies is, can they find their A game again, while Pendlebury and Sidebottom are shadows of their brilliant best, Cox is NOT a footballer, and their forward line looks mediocre?

I think that a lot of D supporters and players underestimated Swans last week, feeling a little better about the loss tonight, great effort Swans and Heeney is a ripper.

I'm only watching now to see the nuffies start streaming out out of the ground early.....

Quoting for accuracy

Ima do what I did last week when Collingwood got done: I sat only inches from the TV screen and put the volume up to the highest possible level just before the siren. Y’all should try it… it’s extremely cathartic. 😁

James Brayshaw is an expert in telling us what we already know. It's an art form.

Oh what a joy to behold! Those disgusting pigs are 0-2. 🥳

I’m singing the Swannies song with gusto. 😅 I might even dance during the banjo solo!

what a smashing at home.

Saints Lions Hawks Port up next for the Pies

Pies fluked a flag. hope they disappear into oblivion

Sydney should be very pleased with their start to season 2024.

They've managed to beat this year's premiers and last year's premiers in successive weeks.

The swans with players missing smashed the pies, we lost by 20 odd in a swamp!!!

Where have all the Collingwood supporters gone ?

What game did you watch?

That scoreboard flattered the filth

That was a big win with a lot of missed goals by Swans and a few easy ones conceded in the last ten mins.

#Bigflaghangover.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
