I still have PTSD from the Taylor Swift situation. That was 3 days I’m never getting back, followed by a traumatic conversation with my 10 year old niece.

Worst. Uncle. Ever.

Lol. You know in this day and age it's OK to come out as a Tay Tay fan, you don't need to hide behind your niece?

Does anyone know what the Family ticket provides? E.g. is it 2 x adult + 2 x children or some other mix.

I’ve got 2 member codes, but I’m looking for 2 more if anyone is unable to attend and happy to share.  Forever in debt to whoever is able to help out.  Cheers HB

fwiw I still don't have the email with the barcode.

There is an option:  ask them to get their barcodes from mfc website:

Thanks for the legup LH. I did see that suggestion before but me doing this and trying to get others to do this are very different things I'm afraid.

Thanks, you’ve answered my question. I’d like to think if for example you’ve sat level 2 all year that that’s where your tickets will be allocated from. Here’s hoping….

Already taking the Friday off, ideally don't want to take tomorrow off as well just to concentrate 100% on getting tickets!

I’m taking next Thursday and Friday off, flying down for the game.

Level 2 is N12 to N49 (38 bays) Punt Road end and N29 to N36 (8 bays( at the city end.

I reckon we'll be allocated the city end and only a small portion of the Punt Road end. Good luck getting level 2.

Going off what Ben posted on page 3, I think we’re a chance, time will tell.

So sorry for the misinformation. The Demon Army will be in M3, our usual bay.

Evening @WalkingCivilWar, was it just me or did the Swans have their supporters behind both goal’s yesterday? Does this happen at other grounds?

Thanks

Hi all, unfortunately I cannot make the game Thurs.  And have a barcode if someone would like it.  Send me a PM.  First in best dressed.

Has always happened at Pork Barrel Park (GMHBA).

Hi,

I'm also looking for one extra barcode. My elderly mother would love to go with my father, who is a member and has a barcode (I'm MCC so covered). If anyone can kindly assist if not going, that would be amazing.

Thanks in advance

Can someone advise me please - is it still possible to walk from the Ponsford stand around the back of the Members to the Olympic stand?

I am also on the lookout for a spare barcode if anyone is unable to attend and willing to pass it on. Trying to take the girls to their first final coming up from Canberra.

thx.

Hey all, looking for an extra barcode too from someone who is unable to attend if possible. Would be much appreciated, cheers!

Does anyone know what category the General Admission Membership with a GF Ticket guarrantee gets?

Don't think so, unless you get a pass out and go outside the stand - but I don't think that's what you are asking.

It is quite possible now to walk from the MCC members in the Northern Stand to the AFL members on levels 1 and 4 via the Punt road end.  Not sure if that was always possible prior to the new Norther/Olympic stand.

You certainly used to be able to because I did it a year or so ago.
The reason I ask is because I want to stand in M9 but fear we will only be offered Ponsford Stand seats as per previous years when we've been the away team.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
