And as I posted in another thread, Max now the highest polling ruck of the season.  7 votes ahead of English.

AA again, even missing 4-5 games.

Best ruck in AFL.

Geez, Trac really could have taken the lead in the last fortnight with none of his competition polling. Still time for him though with a good finish to the H&A season.

If Max continues this form, you seriously have to ask the question on him and AA 7th jacket dont you? Logic dictates that its the average of performances across the season, but surely there is an aspect of who is actually the best and most impactful at the time of selection. Tim English, his nearest rival, doesn't have nowhere near the same impact on games and is more of a stats accumulator.

I'm sure the selectors will find a way to get Buddy or Hawkins in and yet will elect to ignore this great man's amazing run in the last month.

Touk deserves 12 votes. 10 for his game, and 2 for grabbing Zorko by his teeny tiny balls.

One extra per nut.

I remember Brendan McCartney's advice to Clarry on his debut was "keep it simple. See ball, get ball."

Maybe the Suns coaching assistants preach the same mantra.

You're a microcosm Jaded. Much concern for the players' safety in general but also tremendous hatred for Zorko's tiny balls.

Zorko is an eye gouging little [censored]. Him complaining that someone did him wrong on the field is both ironic and hilarious.
I wish him and his tiny balls all the best going forward.
Thoughts and prayers are with his wife.

Just like the Brownlow, the lion's share of votes go to the midfielders.  Nary a defender in sight.

with scores of 130 and 98 it was hardly a day for defenders

still, your point stands

You are right on the money. How about Zorko moaning to the media about it afterwards in a similar fashion to last year?

Just on Touk though he very much deserved maximum votes. His job on Lachie Neale was the best I've seen this year on any star mid, kept him to 17 touches and got 29 for himself. A massive part of their win and how they have missed him dearly.

touk said he thought he grabbed a button on his shortd, couldn't have been his balls because it was so tiny

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
