I wish our players would communicate better .

Some are going podcasts.

Hopefully May runs through Ben Keys. He has a hugely punchable head.

If I see to more of our players contesting the same ball, I will not make dry July.

I think Adelaide have caught us off guard here. I don’t think anyone expected them to play so defensive and have an extra down back. We will adjust.

Quarter riddled with mistakes and poor decisions

Poor execution and sloppiness will cost us here. Need to sharpen up and hit our targets.

And then sit out for 3 weeks?

Too many small forwards in this team.

And yet still no influence.

Good work from Max , Tommo, Jvr, Viney and Mcvee.

We look a little exposed for leg speed here, getting wrapped up a lot

5 crows leading the tackling stats tells a story

Kossie started strongly, I like seeing him up the ground a bit more; getting amongst it.

The thing that strikes me comparing this game to last night's is the pure structure of Melbourne's play. It's really professionally done, and I think even the dodgy looking forward entries are built to reinforce and enable this structure.

Whether it can hold up and outscore your Collingwoods and Port Adelaides in finals remains to be seen but it's definitely different than their gamestyles.

Adelaide’s pressure has been very good. They know their season is on the line.

1st.

🤮Dees terrible kicking. Kozzzzy. Trac. May. Bad turnovers

🤔Mcvee struggling on Rankine (keep the faith)

🤔Lever brain fade deliberately out of bounds

Key Stats - turnovers 🤮23Dees 🤮20Crows

Rooooo. Mark. Goal.  JVR. 👋👋

I think you’ll find it wouldn’t take much for him to drop.
