Looking forward to Rivers producing more and more of last week’s final quarter.

Chaplin on Rivers, scary.

I had a meeting with him yesterday and reviewed his tape and I was pretty honest with him, I said I think you're only at about 75-80 per cent capacity for what you're capable of.

It’s currently raining here in Casey. Let’s hope it clears up. We know what happens to us in the rain 🙄

weather will, you would think, keep it tight and make it a wet ball game, which probably suits the crom more than us

mouch will revel as an inside bull who turns it over a lot, and they will REALLY miss laird and rachele's ball skills

today's one of the ones where i just expect the dees to get it done in a professional, relatively gritty win

Media still ripping into  MFC . Its been a long week. Now theyre hinting that Goodwin would make a good coach for the Crows in 2025.

Get it done today Dees.  If for any reason just shut the media up. FFS

We just need to bank the points.

But on a side note come along for the bluey entertainment. The kids will love it.

Is this a thing?

Genuine question. I am brining my son.

I think today is a critical marker for our fortunes this year.  Adelaide will want to attack through the corridor, it's our best chance to practice and display our ability to deal with this.

Weather will clear nicely by game time.

Expect a perfect Melbourne winter's day, blue skys and hardly a breath of wind.

Only a mll od rain has faen so ground might be a touch slippery, but not sodden.

Hail rain or shine, if we're contenders we have to win this. We can smell September now so no more slip ups.

Win or lose, I'd like to see Tommo play a blinder

Reckon he's underrated, way too good for VFL

Stiff I agree, just would like him to succeed and do enough to keep his place.

Think it frees up Lever to float and intercept, which is his thing and benefits us greatly.

Wet or slippery game, still drizzling here in the city. Forecast says the sprinkle is abating.

Marks are so important to our structures. At least, I hope we play infront and have the right boots on.

We have been playing consistently over the four quarters (better than previous years, and last week drop in 2 and 3 was an aberration, plus a little bath water), showing we have built our maturity.

Love our young players. The mids are doing well, led by Gus, with Clarry out and Tracc foward.

C'mon those on the edge of selection, push hard today.

Our team is so much more flexible in our set ups and styles now, good coaching. We must be a headache to play against.

Go Dees.

Maybe not a bad thing to clean up our skills in the wet, in preparation for a potentially wet final..

Less than 1ml of rain predicted

Training in now, plenty of red and blue around in this carriage at least.

Game day....the only time one is inclined to speak to other passengers.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
