And I thought Goody's selections were baffling on occasion.

Love how Warner keeps "telling" the selectors how he will retire in Oz.

I wouldn't have the nous to know what I'm talking about in Cricket Deever haha

Well at least you have some pretty good footy smarts Layzie.  Will we get the chocolates this weekend?

It's so sweet beating the Crows. Hope our forward line delivers. I don't think Grundy will get the nod and Chandler probably comes in for Spargo. Good to see Tommo back. Can't see Goody making three changes😀

Haha appreciate that! I do having a passing interest but wouldn't be able to go too deep.

It's definitely a potential trap game if we aren't careful, if the Crows take the game on I can see them giving us some issues. Need to make sure our forward line is moving constantly and not stationary, just need to kick enough goals and we should be right.

Ever since we lost that game in Adelaide by a point I've just wanted to build this massive streak on them 😃

That would’ve been cool but we only celebrate total number of AFL games. Melks got his 200th game banner last year for which he was very grateful. Some players show their appreciation more than others.  Langers is also particularly grateful for things like this. So we all stood on the graphic (very small crew tonight) and were filmed yelling out, “Go Eddy! The Demon Army love you!” We know he’ll love it. ❤️💙

Understand if you don't want to give too much away but would you like to share who the other players are aside from Melksham who have appreciated the banners more than other players?

I'm going for England in the cricket

I'll barrack for any team that plays Australia. Cant stand them.  Cricket died with Shane Warne.

I like the dees team in- out selection. Tomlinson and Hibberd must play. Wouldnt mind seeing Laurie debut but is there room?

Obviously every game is important, but this one is hugely important for our top 4 chances.

Should we get the win and Geelong loses, we would only need to go 3-2 to finish top 4 with two bottom 3 sides to come.

Looking at the team selection, I would expect only one of Tomlinson or Hibberd to play, unless there's a late withdrawal of one of the other nominated defenders or one of Tomlinson or Hibberd is the sub. The other six defenders (May, Lever, Salem, Rivers, Bowey and McVee) are all ahead of Tomlinson and Hibberd and we play seven defenders, not eight.

I suspect Tomlinson will play while one of Chandler or Laurie will replace Spargo. Smith, in my view, will again be the sub.

Laurie's debut was earlier this year.

Tomlinson is named on the field so he’s definitely playing.

Tomlinson for Petty is the right call. Wonder what the rumour mongers will come up with next.

Spargo out is also correct IMO. I suspect Chandler comes in but the Bowey/Hibberd idea is appealing.

I want Smith to come into the 22 and Chandler be the sub. Demonlanders underestimate what he could do for us.

You might get your wish FT.

On Casey form Bill should get the nod over Chandler but of course Chandler has more experience plus early year 'AFL' cred form so the SC may revert back to what they may see as the safer option.

I like Tommo in the backline, he hit form vs Coll and has been playing very well at Casey. Too good not to have as one of our 3 tall backs

Whist Petty is a good player, he has been injury prone this year. Get him cherry ripe for finals. Unlike others, I think there's still much potential for him as a key forward

Should Tommo cement a spot with form in the next few weeks it's a great problem to have finals W1.

Look at the Pies. Their depth is such that they have good players in form dropped to the magoos. And their culture under Fly has this working

I know that! That’s how I knew you were being facetious. During the last Test match you asked me the old chestnut question, “who’s winning in the cricket?” 😂😂😂

The players who most appreciate the banners along with everything else we do (besides Melksy) are BBB, Langers, Harmesy, Ricky Lever and Brodie. These guys are also hands down the friendliest and the ones who engage with us the most.

Choco, Goody and Richo are also super appreciative. ❤️💙

Conversely, there are some players who don’t engage at all and even one who is notoriously rude to DA members. Not gonna name them but it’s like with any group of individuals in life: some are not as pleasant as others.

So true FD more a guidance than an interview, it’s like watching the news people read the news, no one ever questions the rubbish that they are reading , even when you know it’s [censored] they never question it. I think this is the angriest I’ve ever you, DZ.

Agreed. The hawks game with Petty and JVR as key forwards was our best mix. Petty was BOG till he got injured in that game. Sliding doors hey. He's still worth a try up forward and would compliment Brown.

It’s like you guys were flies on the wall last night! I can’t repeat most of the comments made, suffice to say the others were told “don’t leave WCW alone with the graphic.” Nuff sed 🤭

The rude player probably used to read DL and was shocked at all the negativity even during our flag season.

Come on give us a hint. Its your call.

May,Fritsch or Hibberd?
