3 St kilda players?

Please.

Marshall was outstanding. The other two don't deserve votes

Both coaches agreed to give votes to two of the three St Kilda players. You could throw a blanket over another 15 players for the remaining single votes.

Steele was very impressive too - top rated player on the ground (by Player Ratings) and clearly the number 1 pressure player on the ground.

May has now picked up 25 votes (of his 26 season votes) in the last five matches.

I think Trac should have 17-18 Brownlow votes.  Daicos will have about 24 votes and is clearly the favourite.  Merrett is a smoky but has now firmed in betting

It will be interesting to see if May gets the umpires vote for this game.

Defenders have traditionally not polled over well in the Brownlow but that was an outstanding Bachman's game worthy of the maximum.

I’d happily argue Wanganeen, Steele and Marshall were all better than Brayshaw.

Wanganeen is exactly the type of player we have been screaming out for for 5 years

1 vote for Brayshaw? Seems like at least one of these coaches doesn't know anything about football 😝

Wonder how Max and Brodie are feeling that the opposition ruck got 7 coaches votes? Hopefully fired up

It didn't fire them up after Jackson whooped both of them

Bachman?  Johann Sebastian or maybe Carl Phillip Emanuel?

Thanks mono, I usually pick up typos but .....

Anyway, I'd go for Johann Sebastian .

I think Maysie was BOG on the night, but the umps will give CP5 the 3 Brownlow votes followed by Maysie with 2 and 1 to Marshall.

Really? I thought you'd prefer to be takin' care of business with the Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Or maybe attending a tea party with Michelle.

I'm opting more for the gracious lifestyle of The Manor these days LDC.

The vote split by coach:

  • 5/5 May
  • 3/4 Marshall and Petracca
  • 2/2 Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
  • 1/0 Steele and Brayshaw

With the exception of the '1' vote the coaches saw it almost identically.

Hope 'Uncle Bitter' doesn't get too used to the gracious lifestyle...this board wouldn't be the same without his always entertaining and occasionally irreverent posts...☺️

And, @WalkingCivilWar may not recognise the new 'Uncle Bitter' to irreverently spar with...

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
