It’s very hard to watch a game when I have my view obscured every 4 seconds by “fans” carrying $800 worth of mid strength beer

Did you get one then?

Good: Steven May, McVee, Viney, Petty and Lever.

Decent: ANB, Jordon, Langdon, BBB and the Melk.

Terrible: Max, Pickett, Rivers, Angus (40% disposal efficiency).

800$   pffffff

Saints down 3 men makes it very difficult for them. We should run over the top of them in the second half.

A few players down at half time, Petracca, Salem, to name a couple, but rapt in Woey jnr, JJ, Sparrow and Viney

We look average for mine I’ll be happy if we do enough to hold on forget winning big…

And what is Tracc doing? Is he being tagged closely?

We seem so slow. No dare or run. By the time they move the pill forward, Saints have us covered. We look so ordinary to say the least.

Also, getting in each other’s way / not giving each other space / trusting that teammates will win the ball. Hand balling to stationary teammates. Often no overlap.

Meh .... We've looked average most of the year.

We have become an average football team, sorry but we are not top 4 worthy.

I don’t drink beer. Much less the [censored] they sell at the footy.
Besides beer doesn’t go with the cheese platter.

The viewing experience at this ground is atrocious

I will never understand why you bother coming to the footy only to spend half the game going in and out of your seat to drink. Like why not get drunk for free at home?

Kozzie to kick six in the second half…

or five

or a couple… 😁

I didn't go tonight either. I go every week, pay $1000 in memberships, sort of didn't feel like paying more to go to to a concrete jungle and get home by midnight again.

Bring on next fri though

We are 13 points up = total positive.

We have more players playing well than playing poorly, but the poor ones like Kozzie and Gus looking a mile off.

Love seeing BBB back.

Good to see our F50 entries looking cleaner, and our  general forward play looking organised.

After a good start, Woewodin looking off the pace.

We need Trac and Viney to stand up big time in the 2nd half.

Our reserved seats at the G are in a dry area!

It is bliss.

Not great but not bad. 10 possies, a goal and 5 score involvements.

We are top four but only because the other 14 side are very ordinary.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
