I know how you feel. But for mine it’s Demonland that’s unbearable. I’d forgotten how pathetic some of the “fans” are on here.  I only came on here to share what I hear about Fritta but it’s not possible without seeing some of these posts that are just too much. Further compounded by hearing my peeps doing their best behind the goals, fully supporting our boys regardless of the score.

Anyways medicos just had another meeting. They can’t manage his pain. They’re gonna do a pain block infusion. Apparently it’s a common procedure.

Thanks for the updates.

I believe we all are free to share our POV on the game, as long as we keep it respectful. No personal attacks on the players.

just found something more enjoyable to do on a sunday

A 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle

its called ‘The Wheat Field’

My MFCSS tells me that there’ll only be 9999 pieces in the box.

+17 disposals, +14 CPs, +8 clearances, +13 free kicks, +10 inside 50s, +5 scoring shots, but scores level.

I know that the underlying stats indicate we’re doing things right in the other two parts of the ground but if we don’t work out how to score from these stats soon, we never will (in 2023).

I mean I can’t believe that you’re not pulling your hair out watching us undo so much good work inside 50. It’s so frustrating. We deserve to win when we dominate and do so much good work.

Terrible news for Fritta. I hope they can manage his pain. Can’t be good if it’s still so painful.
Do they have a suspicion of what it might be?

I was off DL most of last week and will be again, can't even plug a family friend's business in Alice Springs without people taking the [censored].

The guys should glue sandpaper to their boots for the next half, get better purchase. Is that actually illegal?

That 50 was a disgrace. Toby played on took 6 steps to the right, Harmes was running backwards away from him, stupid umpire doesn’t call play on but pays a 50. Haynes was not inside the 10m until Toby played on and ran straight at him.

Wet night in a low scoring game that could be the difference.

Absolutely pathetic wrong decision.

I think he was having a joke Layz. I didn’t think it was serious 👍

Petracca trying to help us win

Petracca is major part of the problem.

playing two big rucks is a liability. not sure how much longer we can carry both. especially with Brown back

They know but they’re not telling all to Fritta. Apparently this isn’t out of the ordinary. He will tell Pauline if/when they tell him the full extent of the injury. She’ll tell me and if so, I’ll pass on the info. Just wish I could do so without having to catch sight of these outrageous posts.

We need to get back to playing simple, hard at it footy and get the ball forward.

One can never be too sure, THBT. 🤷‍♀️

We’re doing very well at that imo. It’s just the finishing.

we won't be able to blame a loss today on the umps.

I get one player having a bad patch when kicking for goal. We have every player out of touch, except one and he was dropped.

426 then i guess we have to expect. If they dont tell the player what his injury extent is.....it sounds fairly involved. Cheers.

Ignore the aussie wowsers and keep posting.

I haven’t seen Gawn not be able to stand his ground in marking contests since this year

wonder if he has an injury or just banged up?

Jeez i hope its not season ending WCW.. I don't think we can win the flag without him

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
