seems like giants can only play 3 quarters this year

i take it back........egg on face

well done giants

Who would’ve thought an off broadway Sydney v GWS game would be one of the games of the year.

Happy for the Giants and Sydney’s top 4  chances aren’t looking great.

Toby Greene you would give 3 first round picks for. Superstar

Freo and Swans not playing finals after today. Even if they recover players, and get some wins. Not up to it in 2023.

And Toby Greene used to do some horrible stuff on the ground, but he is an absolute A grader. Matchwinner.

Absolutely. But so would 17 other teams

All counts for squat if we don’t salute and salute well tonight

For a disciple you’re not much of a believer.

A game wasted in NSW.

Oh contrarie, a true Demon believer must have MFCSS. It’s a fricken prerequisite.

Either that or you’re not in deep enough.

Surely Fremantle won't lose to The Hawks next week.

Surely can. Freo is putrid. Have  beaten Eagles WAFL team and struggled to beat Suns right up to the siren in Perth with help from umps.

In principle this is correct. In reality, Hawks are rolling the tanks in.

All over for the Giants.

Famous last words!

Hawthorn has too much pride.

Havent "won" a  wooden spoon since about the 1950's or early 60's probably.

Absolutely but we would have to have a bag over his head.

Weightman has zero, count ‘em, nil, nada, no, possessions in his 46:36mins time on the ground!! But he has had one turnover 🤣

Just watch them capitulate in the second half. That number one pick is more important to their overall plans

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
