Who does Pickett replace next week?

JJ

JVR to play at his home soil. 4 goals for sure 🔥🔥🔥.

I imagine he will invite all the people from his hometown 😆

Spargo out WTF

Brown Out, Pickett in.

Would like to see Viney out for Howes, but not sure Jack would get dropped being captain. I feel he is probably our biggest watch over the next few weeks. Disposal poor, decision making poor. JJ is a much better 3rd midfield option and Koz back will squeeze Jack out.

Picketts round 1 game was miles better than any games these 2 have put together in 2023

And agree again

Absolutely no idea what changes they make, a couple of thoughts:

IN: Pickett
OUT: Sparrow

JJ, Gus to have more mins inside

IN: Pickett
OUT: Hibberd

Jordon to have stints at half back or Petty back to defence?

Really can't see them dropping BBB

Kozzie in hard to drop anyone from today's game. Someone is going to be stiff. Melk junk time supersub may be left out

Eagles players going down like flies.

McGovern, Cripps, Shuey and Witherdan all unlikely next week.

Let's get the Casey boys for a nice Perth visit and rest our AFL team 😆

The season is a marathon, not a sprint. We need to peak when it matters. We're not losing next week, so why not start rotating the list a little bit and giving a few blokes a rest next week. Will refuel the batteries and ensure we can go the distance. We have the depth and need to use it. It's what hurt us last season in the end.

let's wait and see what the medical report is on sideshow bald first

if he's out i still like our structure with three talls up front - sideshow, roo, and petty - so if one of them is out then plugger mac gets another opportunity more than likely

pickett is obviously an in, most likely for melksham, with one of jj or sparrow - probably jj - sliding to the sub

Brown should have a week off regardless of whether he’s injured or not. Another week to look at Petty and JVR up forward and we can always bring Tmac back.
We are heading into a softer patch of the draw and we need to take opportunities to rest our older and most important players.

100% agree. The 3rd tall is the Ruck pinch hitter.

We also need to get some games into Turner, should be our 3rd tall of Petty plays up forward.

Kosi for Hibberd. Petty to go back. Another possible out is Sparrow (just 10 touches) but I feel like he was vital in getting centre bounce clearance momentum back.

No way can Harmes replace JJ. Jordon was immense today.

Think melksham is a lock for sub until he hits 100mfc games, he's on 97 now.

why would anyone give AF if he gets to 100? he already got to 200 games

Was BBB injured? Please don't tell me it's the knee

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
