Tonight's game could be a beauty.

Great test for the tigers, their young brigade should be fast enough to keep up with the manic style of Collingwood.

Whether they are skilled enough?

Collywobbles seem to be the benchmark early this season.

Pies will smack them

Talking around 90k tonight.

Living in Nsw, they would not get that for an Nrl grand final.

There's only one real footy game in this great country.

I think that's a big part of the reason Melbourne's the sporting capitol of the world, we have the best football game anywhere🙂

Who are the actuaries that determine all the afl betting markets like margins....player with first and most goals....most disposals etc?

Would they spend all weekend watching games. Where do you apply?😃

Plus a famous horse race, a grand slam tournament and an f1 race. Not too shabby.

In a perfect world, both teams lose, fold, and cease to exist.

That won't happen, so I will go for the lesser of two evils and barrack for Richmond.

May God have mercy on my soul.

Richmond could well be the 2022 Collingwood of 2023. They just defend really well and stay in games. Was the same against Carlton.

This describes my evening in front of the footy too. It feels wrong to support the Tiges, but bringing the Pies back  a peg  would be very, very sweet.

Pies should have at least 3 more goals but for bad kicking. Tiges hanging on by their fingernails i reckon

Holding the ball raffle

Clear prior and took the player on. What a joke, i'd be fuming if that were a dees player tackling.

If there is one player in the league, I would like to add to our team, and I know it’s not going to happen, but it would be Shai Bolton.

I posted on here when Bolton was playing reserves at the beginning of his AFL career that I would love him at the Dees. I copped a fair bit on DL at the time.

Well when it's 10 scoring shots to 1, Collingwood is +25 in disposals, +10 in CPs, +6 marks inside 50 and +5 inside 50s, you'd want to have a good defence because if they don't arrest the momentum the dam wall is going to burst.

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
