Assume they are just guesstimating like I did a few minutes ago when I updated the injury list on Demonland.

  PLAYER INJURY LENGTH
OLIVER Clayton.png Clayton Oliver Hamstring Test
MCDONALD Tom.png Tom McDonald Ankle 1 Week
TURNER Kye.png Kye Turner Groin 1 Week
FRITSCH Bayley.png Bayley Fritsch Foot 2-3 Weeks
TURNER Daniel.png Daniel Turner Hand 2-3 Weeks
PETTY Harrison.png Harrison Petty Foot TBC
HOWES Blake.png Blake Howes Hand Season
SESTAN Oliver.png Oliver Sestan Elbow Season

Petty is a big loss as he was finding his rhythm, but that’s afl footy, we should have back Oliver , t Mac , Fritsch available by finals time. Though not sure would they need game time @ Casey?

Communication from the club re: injuries this season has been putrid

Except for when Gawn went down and the internet went into meltdown and we got an update on a Sunday.

all that just "from the vision"?   sheez some of these guys can sure spin things

I'd be very surprised if he played again this year. I'd be surprised and relieved if he was good to go at the start of  preseason.

None of us gave a $hite when Turner went down.... we don't 'deserve' to have the knowledge considering its personal information.

It's quite the entitled stance.

We seem to have 'finally' nicely gone along the 7 stages of grieving re: communicating Clayton's injury... it'd be nice for supporters to manage themselves for any other injury going forward.

I was only aware of 5 stages 😉maybe waiting ..and then anticipating the worst see the other two?

Probably hasn't been expressed enough but I'm really feeling for Harry. He works incredibly hard at both ends of the ground and this would be really frustrating for him right now.

Richo saying season over on C7

I'd be happy for the club to keep things under wrap as far as possible if there is any chance of him playing this year. Our competitors would have more to think about if they don't know who may be in the team in the finals.

Please never play that dump of a ground ever again 😡😡😡😡😡😡

So I missed this bit on 7 News. Did Richo actually say "season over", because if not, he's still in the frame, and it would be logical management to keep the press off our backs and Petty's if we simply said it was a bad injury.

Are you equating turner to petty. Petty is pivotal to our flag chances. Supporters are on tensor hooks

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
