I think Jordon injured his foot or ankle.

Bowey is the really interesting one.  My theory is that in the Geelong game they rag dolled him and was dropped so that he could bulk up.  Will come back bigger and stronger next year.

Yes he got injured in the VFL up in Brisbane where he racked up 35 possessions in Casey’s only loss for the year. Someone stood on his foot late in the game unfortunately. He was the Medi sub the night before.😪

I watched some of the stream but it dragged on too long. I was also disappointed that they didn't show more of the audience as I was hoping to see @WalkingCivilWar.

I reckon she would have been easily identifiable .

A deranged looking ranga with an autograph book the size of The Pink Pages and blinding  all with the constant flash of irritating  selfies.

Appears more like Mrs T-Rex to me.

A case of 'he who protests too much...' perhaps.😉

Maybe you and @WalkingCivilWar should get a room!

Reckon she will de-friend me for that...😬

Top 5 comprised of a Pick 2, 3 and 4.
F/S that would have gone top 5 and a bloke traded in with pick 6

Would be nice to have a pick at the pointy end again this year

Yeah but how is Taylor going with picks in the 50s!! That’s where the real mettle grumble grumble fart!1!1

Jackson finished a surprisingly high equal 13th.

Interestingly Jackson and Spargo averaged the same B & F points per game. I’m pretty sure this means Charlie is also worth 2 first rounders on the open market.

No doubt. Providing he doesn’t get injured he will win most years. Coming into his prime and already the best is I’ve seen behind Ablett jr.

His in close work at the stoppage is really like nothing I've ever seen.

You make tough decisions early so you don’t end up doing a Collingwood who will be paying around $700K next for players not on their list

its clear we don’t see Hunt as part of our plans and the coaches expect Bowie etc to replace him next year

While that's probably correct the fact remains Bowie needs 10 kgs and an extra 10 % of pace if he's going to be a long term player.

Bowey has a high footy IQ and is an excellent kick remember what they said about Diesel Williams to short, too slow.. he showed them.!!!

I don't dispute his " weapons";Spargo has a high footy IQ as well, that's why I have them waxing up forward.

The Diesel I recall weighed 88 kgs,had a low centre of gravity so you couldn't ragdoll him and his handball is more like and actual accurate Trac kick into the forward line than Clarrie's extraordinary extractions from under a pack.

I just reckon Bowey needs 10 kg's and that's a lot

Aaaand… de-friended.

JK Luci! I’d never de-friend you. For starters, we still have our plan to co-parent Jayden once the adoption papers are signed. Right? RIGHT???

You didn’t look hard enough you old letch. I was hard to miss for I was a “vision in white” according to my neighbour who’s 89yo and blind in one eye and has impaired vision in the other. But I’m taking it!!!

And no autograph book. That’s only for training sessions, and it’s a guernsey. Autograph books went the way of the dinosaur aeons ago. But guilty as charged re the unceasing selfie opps. At one point I got a selfie with Kozzy and his cuz Chase Burgoyne taken by Ricky Lever (!) such was the abundance of willing selfie participants. And when I say “willing” I mean “will do anything to get rid of her.”

The Demons return to Casey Fields (aka the Field of Dreams) this Saturday to host the Saints in Round 2. If you’re feeling lucky, head down the Monash for some family-friendly footy—you might even walk away a winner. The first 5,000 adults through the gate will receive an entry into the $10,000 helicopter ball drop. With Casey’s infamous wind, what could possibly go wrong? Closest ball to the pin wins. So spread the word, get down there—and good luck!

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
