10 [censored] seconds left. Jesus Christ why do we allow this [censored]?

It’s called the Dangerzone.

It’s where Melbourne players go to put their feet up and relax after doing the hard work early on.

That late goal could be huge in the scheme of thing.

given our second halves and the limping going on out there I think we need to be further ahead.

This game should be over but more worrying is the lack of any finals flair

We literally are limping towards the finish line

Can we not give up junk time goals… FFS

Petty huge, Nibbler been good, Trac a star, Kozzie on fire, Fritta poor, Spargo putrid, Max needs to re assert dominance. Dogga needs to learn to bloody mark. Langers needs to get more involved .

Any chance Jackson can take a mark occasionally?

He's playing the role of Weiderman really well. We can call him nearly tonight because he has nearly taken a mark

Trac looks v v sore not sure he should be out there

Leading possession getter. A freak.

Not confident we will run this game out, think lions will make a run late, we have wasted our chances to gap them

Yes BT. We get it that Tracc is sore.

Glad we're in front but gee we wast some chances need to put them away second half

Are we managing the game tempo after being banged up last week?  Weren't playing to the same standard as against the swans.

What a disaster.  We've only doubled their score to half time.

I’m next to the bench and we are struggling. So many players limping off. Pain killers galore. Unfortunately a 22 point lead has been proven to not be a handy lead for us. Let alone with this many players struggling.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
