Ha ha ginnivan. Probably would have got the free but the dive looked bad

Absolutely dived, might have been something there but he does himself no favours

Was just thinking that. Surely you can setup a few set plays. May is a good kick and could hit a target outside 50.

We could if he bothered to look for someone else rather than gawn

I still can’t decide who to barrack for so short of a toss of the coin ima base it on the coach. So yeah, Collingwood it is.

Right?

I’m barracking for suspensions and 3 week injuries 🤣

For a side many on here have been calling lucky, not a top four team, the worst percentage any top four team have ever had there playing bloody well. They might lose this but there a very good team.

Pies and Swans move the ball so much better than us on rebound and kick outs. Game style alteration required for us over the off season to become potent offensively again.

Ginnivan, Selwood, Cox, DeGoey, Howe, Cameron, Dangerfield

Cant barrack for anyone

Collingwood are the real deal. They're really impressive to watch.

To think we were so close to snaring Jamie Elliot at the end of 2019 .. 😭😭

Yup. Way too much structure. I mean FFS unleash Clarrie and Trac, Langers less effective cos we now go slow. All that makes our forwards ineffective. Look at the way the filth and swans smashed the ball forward from stoppage. Geelong did it with the mark to Rohan too.

The answer is in our outburst from centre clearance and stoppage. What we did to the Bulldogs in the GF 3rd quarter, we should do continuously until we have trampled the opposition. We had some of that flare last night, but couldn't sustain it or lost it due to undisciplined free kicks.

Darcy Moores barber needs a talking to.

Cant understand why they dont have more cameras and more angles....ridiculous.

How about a Go Pro and some gaffer tape

I love how the other games thread still becomes a MFCSS cryfest.

Amazing how quickly a style of play can fail. We are the new dinosaurs already

No we are just saying how 3 of the top 4 have a completely different gameplan to ours and their's appears to be succeeding

They can't even pay for a good slo-mo or 360 system, appaling!

Kills me to say it but without Hawkins Geelong would be a 6-8th ranked side. He’s been so good for so long. The minute he retires they’ll be 4 goals worse off.

I wish we were kissed on the D as much as Geelong, we always seem to play against the opposition and the umpires

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
