Shouldn’t Hibberd and co. avoid the main group at all costs? Can remain contagious for a while..

Calm down.

Think its the 2 or 3rd time Goody has come down with something this year.

Worst case scenario Yze would step up as coach.

Maybe a strategy by Goody so he can watch multiple angles and streams from the comfort of his lounge room and beam in his messages to Yze. Worked well last time 😬

Running 12-15 Ks in an AFL game the day after copping a bout of gastro can't be great preparation.

From experience, the day after is much better than the day of…

The players had the day off yesterday when goody came down with it at lunchtime according to Chaplin.

And he's obviously stayed away today.

I'm confident the players are ok

Hibbo is a massive loss if he doesn’t get up. A perfect match up for Papley.

Welcome to the Finals boys and girls, this is the best of us, the game with in the game has kicked off early.

The journos sure do need those cheap bait clicks don't they?

The Pig could be a little lighter on his feet when running Palely into the ground.

Damn it!! Ah well, we got a good excuse if we lose now

Is that the same excuse Geelong have been telling themselves?

We won't use excuses, if we lose it will be learning's

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
