5 ahead in my comp. No need to hedge the bets, going for broke tonight with us.

And due to that the rest is nothing to see here. Might tip Carlton just for fun.

Win tonight and I couldn’t give a Rats

lost tonight and I’ll be cheering on GWS, Carlton and Saints!

A big Essendon win would really add more egg to their faces. Provided Rutten coaches.

Port captain and vice captain making big statements about how 'arrogant and entitled' the Crows are.

Is it their Ed Langdon 'all duck, no dinner'/'one trick pony' moment?

Like Ed's it may come back to bite them, big time!

Just want to see GWS, Druggos, Hawks and Saints win. Tonite then won't matter as much.

Watch out for some possible tanking from North Melbourne who have applied for draft relief. A win might throw the cat among the pigeons so to speak because it could result in the Weagles getting the spoon and first draft pick.

Go Saints.  At least make it a close bruising affair.  Please.

I'm level for 3rd but behind on points diff. Bumbers are my wild card after the week they have had.

The Geelong vs Eagles will be the biggest snore fest of all time.

Firstly, because it will be a training run for Geelong.

Secondly, it is Dangerfield's 300th game and the endless commentary and fawning will be 🤮

Fremantle leap to 3rd if they beat the Toby Greene Allstars today.

Knowing Geelongs luck they'll get Freo at the G in the QF.

Sickening football club  oozing with entitlement.😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

I will be oh yea so verily tickling my you know whats if GWS can beat freo.

Dangerfields 300 th. !  Didnt see it mentioned anywhere probably due to Essendon imploding all week long.

Can just imagine all the players lining up to applaud him with mum and dad as well all wearing geelong scarfs.

Vomitous to watch.

How could Collingwood lower themselves to give a guard of honour to Selwood on breaking the longest serving captain record. Sickening sight.

The filth are already low, it's not hard.

It's called sportsmanship.  I'd be disappointed if we didn't do the same under those circumstances.

So do we want Carlton to miss finals or Collingwood to miss the the double chance? I'm genuinely torn. I'd like us to play Fremantle at the G in a QF given the choice.

Giving The Filth the Double chance

There's never any point asking me whether I'd prefer pain or happiness for Collingwood. Give me a Carlton win with a terrible free kick in the square to win after they've bashed each other up and then we'll dust off the 1970 GF DVD for dessert that evening.

The 1970 GF is the first game I remember going to. I was 7 years old.

I was told seriously to not barrack for The Filth under any circumstance.

Shaky start Freo. Looks like one of those days when the Giants decide to turn up

Would have been a great one to be at for what it's worth. Biggest attendance ever. Wise advance you were given SWYL.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
