The hyper-fixation on Melbourne's performance at the moment is weird. On Fox Footy they were analysing "defensive breakdowns" of when the Bulldogs kicked goals last week. I mean how else do teams ever kick goals if not for some level of defensive breakdown? We're being picked on now.

Jon Ralph just said that there is some significant good news on Tom McDonald a d there could be a big chance he plays comes finals.

Richo tonight said they were hopeful but it was a long shot. Be interested to hear what Ralph says.

Every single club other than ours announces every player in the team. I personally don't need it but it not a bad touch I guess.

How frig'in embarrassing . . . Taylor and Hodge wondering around on the ground talking absolute siiiiite. Hodge walks like he's got a cricket bat up his clacker, and Taylor a goal post. And any chance wardrobe could organise suits that fit?

I think we can win tonight, and should, but gee I'm nervous, because we really need to signal a turn in form as turn towards finals. If we lose, we could drop to 6th, which will make things a little ugly.

But that's all moot.

We're gonna win tonight, because we're going to come out breathing fire. We have to. We'll want revenge for that game earlier in the year.

The dockers always love to go backwards to set up their forward counter.  You gotta be right up in their face most of the time to kill that.  No BS full zone defence this week.  Bring that and we're toast

Melky Burnt......but it was a gettable shot.

Richo is usually ok but seems to be barracking for the Dockers....Oh for an impartial competent commentary team.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
