Doesnt work with a VPN either?

WatchAFL doesn't need a VPN. It's specifically for international usage.

My sports bar in Hua Hin is proving a bust!

Is that watch afl app any good ? $20 for a week sub. Don't mind the fee but is it any good?

Worked a treat for me last week and will be using it again today.

Not a bad view for the match either. 32 degrees to boot. AF2A5299-1426-4265-BB1C-CD5A71433C51.jpeg

Cats will do some shonky sh$% with FF playing up the ground handing off to Smith and down ASAP to Jeremy. Will need to be ready.

So much riding on our backline vs their forward line and whether the conditions effect their forward line marking power

If their twin towers start to influence we might have to use Max in the backline

And if that happens our forward line will be dependant on our 4 smalls having a decent influence (along with Brown & Fritsch contributing)

Regardless, we'll need to lower the eyes with our inside 50 entries.  Our midfielders hitting the scoreboard would be a big plus

Their average score against is 69 points but they've got a couple out with Stewart being a big out

Chris Scott having conniptions MAX is back.

Always tough at Kardinia with dubious umps and crazy fans but here's hoping the cats players didn't have their afternoon nap time.

Dees by 22.

Scott just on Fox saying he isn't going to send someone to clarry or petracca as it is like conceding the Geelong mids Selwood and danger are not as good and he didn't think that's the case. Same with playing a negating forward on lever or May. He might be foxing but he is dead wrong on his assessment of the mids

Does anyone know what driving to Kardinia for a game is like? Trying to decide if I should train it or drive it. I live west side so would get on the train at Footscray.

Just dont bother mate

Me and my family did it for years

Its a waste of time cannot stand the place

I've tried a few times with no luck both Foxtel go and kayo with VPN whilst OS . Very limited success and I'm in the tech industry. I'd bite the bullet and buy the game on watch AFL

Geelong ground staff not the most hospitable. 😑

Few sideglances probably going around the playing group when this weeks theme was presented I reckon...

Pride cometh before the fall

Just saw Greg Stafford interviewed and he speaks really well. talked about the teams approach to the game and while it was nothing very notable he spoke with a smile on his face nd did not scratch his left leg once.

Game will be won or lost in the contested ball

We pressure them hard,  slow their movement and get our share of clearances we win. They pressure us harder and get easy contested ball out, we lose...

Win the contest, win the game

Job’s right!!!!  The match is on

the big screen!!

Odd thing. A couple of Thai girls just joined me.  I think they want to get in a shout …….. maybe they’re Dees supporters

Still love this quote from last year.

Rd 23. See how we can win from being 40pts behind.
Preliminary Final. See how much we can beat them by when we’re fair dinkum.
Go Dees ❤️💙

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.

  • CASEY: Collingwood

It was freezing cold at Mission Whitten Stadium where only the brave came out in the rain to watch a game that turned out to be as miserable as the weather.
The Casey Demons secured their third consecutive victory, earning the four premiership points and credit for defeating a highly regarded Collingwood side, but achieved little else. Apart perhaps from setting the scene for Monday’s big game at the MCG and the Ice Challenge that precedes it.
Neither team showcased significant skill in the bleak and greasy conditions, at a location that was far from either’s home territory. Even the field umpires forgot where they were and experienced a challenging evening, but no further comment is necessary.
