Strangely I still think we are a chance. As the game opens up more we can run them off their feet. Put shelly Scott to FF and Harris to CHF. Randall is in her head.

Need more from Hanks too.
Fantastic last year and another who's done nothing this year.

Nope. AA squad this year.

And that's the trick, run run run.

Footage of Crows handballing to each other in the rooms and us sitting on chair chin wagging telling.
Adelaide far cleaner.

She's had such a sub standard year this year. She can be a real weapon for us in the past but she just seems off

I don't rate Zanker at all the way she currently plays. To me, she's like a big unbroken horse (not in any way a physical comparison - just in terms of attitude and demeanour) - but no one can make her behave sensibly. Obvious power and skill, but cannot reign it in to be of benefit to the team. Just goes the don't argue, see ball get ball at all opportunities.

Really .... Dunno how.

Need to move it more quickly. Run and kick.

Crows setup is strong and composed.  Defenders ready for standard kick.

Skills of AFLW don’t support high possessions game.  Just run run and run and kick. Overlap run.

Crows are very very good contested footy team.

who can win it ? TAYLA Harris.

We’re still a chance.  Go Dees

You reckon a few more handpasses will fix our issues, or a bit of talking? A lot of our problems in this game relate to game plan - you need a lot of chin wagging to come up with a new gameplan on the fly...

"Use your speed"
– Direction from the coaches

Amen

EDIT: Well that's a censored start

They're far cleaner.

Game over.

Crows get forever to dispose of the ball. Other thing is we just do not show accountability.

should have moved the ball on quickly to bannon there rather the waiting and kicking to the 2 on 1. This slow play is getting us nowhere

We're simply not fit enough to beat Adelaide.

You can't beat a side that runs that much harder than you that you're always outnumbered.

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
