I'd be shocked if the dog's DON'T try anything they can to stop Max. I agree with Leigh Matthews on SEN Saying if Max Gawn wins the Norm Smith, nothing the dogs do will matter, and i'd extend that to, if Max plays well, it's lights out for the dogs

Don't know what the current bumping rule is not because they've changed it so often but originally you couldn't lay a bump unless the ball was within 5 metres

The won’t necessarily need bump him, just get in his way so he can’t run directly contest to contest. Have to think if it was that easy to stop Gawn everyone would do it, max already cops plenty of late hits every week he’s matured as a player and can play through it now

That's what Libba proposed a few days ago. I hope the umpires read it because it is a free to block someone trying to get to a contest.

$20 you are annoying,  just lying about, you are lazy and I'm going to teach you a lesson!

I'm putting you to work at the the betting shop!

You'll need to come back a winner, otherwise........don't bother coming back at all!!

Any WA Demonlanders need a ticket? My cousin in Queensland has one in the hopes that he would be able to go. Long story short he is selling it for face value. $456 (includes the handling fee). He is not looking to make money off it. He would prefer it go to a Demon. PM me your interest and I will get it for you.

Be positive @Jaded

As soon as the earthquake hit I knew we would win. The only insane thing left to experience in 2021 is a Melbourne premiership. In the bag guys.

Disagree. Max could be BOG and we still lose. Need more than Max to play well. We could win with Max having an average game too.

Not a big deal or omen, but Roco tipping Dees and Finey tipping Dogs on Footyology is a great sign. Finey is a hopeless tipper, and Roco is a measured and smart tipper. He knew the Dogs would win last week. Must be 20 ahead this year. Anyway, Go dees.

My son drew this for my Father’s Day and I found it again today while looking for something else, which I think is a good omen.

I will take any good omen at this stage.

Sorry if this has been covered...

Does anyone know if Steven May trained fully?

I'm getting nervous, worried that we're keeping up appearances, and no scans is a bad sign...

Judging by some of the socials GYM our main session was completed a short time ago. 7 sport about to give us some news.

News said he trained and is fit to play.
I highly doubt the media wouldn’t be all over it if he was not fully training or looked hampered.
He is a bigger chance to play than Keath I would say.

Max Gawn just confirmed on AFL 360 that May and Spargo got through full training today.

If Spargo missed after twisting his ankle it would have to be the worst twisted ankle in the history of recorded medical science.
I once twisted my ankle wearing 9cm heels going down stairs and after a few shots I managed to dance on it for 6 hours.
To be fair I would absolutely need a week off these days if I did anything for 6 hours straight that doesn’t involve lying down, but you know those were peak fitness days.

I'll be going to the Captains Run Training at Optus on Friday morning.

I'll give you all a full run down of what I see/they do.🔴 🔵

I was only comparing them with one another, not in general. Would anyone in the media be in the upper echelons of 590k? And on a consistent basis year by year?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
