I’m very lucky, got to watch a fantastic game last night. Now something to really look forward to.

That has dead-set put the icing on the cake for me.Ā

A shout out too to that mob painting their front fence. That is dedication. I love it!Ā  Contemplated doing the same when mowing the lawn this morning, but really can't afford the divorce.Ā

Shout out to the mob sitting near the fence with their face painted in Perth, the Ā girl eating the popcorn and I think her brother tearing up at the end.Ā

Fingers crossed you get a ticket and you see what we’re all dying to see.

Richo tried to hit on my ex-gf at a bar in Prahran when I was still back in Melbourne, he did well, but nevertheless she stayed true (for a few months anyways). But I digress… I still love Richo as his commentary is usually on point, love the guy TBH.

I don’t think you guys are talking about the same Richo (?)

Pop corn girl was all of us last night.

Port and dogs must be worried about our current form.

Read a comment earlier from a Port supporter saying they weren’t sure if they wanted to win or not tonight after watching us last night. I’ll take any compliment for now.

[censored] off Cats. Don’t cheapen our win by saying you had the sniffles. Once you step out on the pitch you are fit to play

whinging pusssies

My popcorn was 5%-13.5% alcoholic beverages.

The Demi God, Max Gawn, offered a smorgasbord of treats. It was an awesome feast had by the hungry demons.

Had the pleasure of meeting plenty of interstate people yesterday - great to extend on the Demon Family.Ā

Words can't describe it. Pretty bloody horse today.

I had a laugh when Bayley Fritsch kicks from the back flank up to Petracca on the wing ! A classic case of how we owned the game and trying to counter anything we did was futile.Ā  There was some great defence viewing when were kicking to the opposite end - extraordinary.

GO DEESĀ

You know every neutral supporter is on the demon bandwagon when you see a GWS supporter going off his absolute nut at Maxy clunking a huge mark in the forward lineĀ

Yeah I did hear that as well. Only so many times you can roll that one out.

There’s been a misunderstanding, someone mixed up their gout and blood pressure medication with Viagra, the old boys didn’t know what was happening

Pathetic from the Cats. They are so arrogant they just can’t admit we were far better.Ā

before the game, they were trotting out the narrative around us choking in prelims. At least we didn’t make up excuses for the WC loss

The Viagra got stuck in their throat apparently. They’ve had a stiff neck ever since

ah-thank-you!

Dare I say it, but what was with the grease on Hawkins and Selwoods shoulders…?!!!Ā

I seriously thought it was Toby Greene when I saw that live. I was bemused that an current AFL player of a different team would be going so bananas.

Even if not the C-word it's irresponsible if our players are exposed to a bug.Ā

It sounds like they were sick on Wednesday. Jeremy Cameron apparently did a Twitch stream on Thursday which was supposed to be on Wednesday and mentioned he needed time off on the Wednesday or something.

They were all then apparently cleared to play last night.

I'm not entirely convinced they were labouring under any issues last night.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown andĀ  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
