Considering they're playing to the home audience, the K-Rock one is surprisingly even handed. Don't expect them to get excited but at least they admit the 50 was there, unlike 5AA who would have argued for a free the other way.

🙄 Great… Now I’ve gotta watch the end of this match another four times. Like 50-odd viewings isn’t enough. JK. I’ve just made a cuppa and ima sit on the front porch and watch it over again. Soz neighbours… you’re about to hear it a few more times. 😁

Press play, close your eyes and picture it like you're listening on the wireless. Wonderful!

Impressed with those, don't know how you did it,  but gus was smart there stood on the outside of the mark and back up a bit forced him to kick it close to the boundary line.

I just did this. Awesome! And without watching it you hear things you otherwise may not notice. Example, the fake crowd noise is there but you can actually hear our boys let out a huge cheer. You can hear it above the fake crowd cheer.

It was Petracca standing on the mark.

The ABC one is good coz no fake crowd noise but who is that clown laughing at Max and saying he’s gonna miss?!?!

Did I hear right was mark neeld doing special comments on Krock ???

Yep that was him.

On reviewing the footage, almost looked like Brad Close could have made it a double 50m for Lever as he ran into the protected area while Cameron stood on the mark.

I have watched that replay more than hannans goal in the 2018 elim.

Absolutely.

I didn't pick that up live, but if lever had made any move to play on it had to be 50 metres. He was basically directly in front of lever

Prior to this, my favourite goal on replay was Jack Watts goal in 2017 ( Queens Birthday). This is now my official favourite ❤️

Watts’ 2017 QBD goal was magical. I’ve watched that probably a thousand times - especially during the dark times of our seasons in 2019/2020.

Before that, Brock McLean’s 2006 Elimination final goal against the Saints was was my favourite.

Okay so I've now hit psychopath-level viewings of the final 2 minutes, thank you.

Didn't mind the 3AW one but the ABC call sounded like kids had overtaken the booth to eat their Domino's pizza

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
