How does Libba get away with all these throws? Can’t stand the cheat

Sydney can’t get their hands on the footy in the clearances. Dogs dominating out the middle.

Commentators need to calm their farm over Ugle-Hagan.

There’s  a whiff of Jack Watts circa 2009 debut about young Jamarra today.

The Swans best footy is very very good.

One of best wins against Sydney. They gave us 4 quarters of serious pressure

Sydney better get comfortable playing in Victoria. They’ll be here a while.

???? Sunday marquee game??

Marketing?

Not sure what you mean...

If you're inferring The Dogs are marketing him (which I'm not sure you are), then it's all Channel 7.

My thoughts are that back in the day, it was the club that pushed the agenda for Watts, not the stations...

No. They don’t play finals down there against Victorian teams. Not enough seating.

They've played 1 finals game there against Freo in 2016? because there were 4 games inelbiurbe that weekend. They will never have a final against another Vic team down there and even against interstate teams it's questionable.

Gee Swans could be a worry for some in finals.

They'll have to hub here for a few weeks if not the rest of the season. Will make it tough for them to win it

Bruce looks like a part time barista working in a vegan cafe making matcha lattes.

Carn the dogs!

the swans have 6 winnable games to come. Don’t want another non vic team in the top 4. Just in case we lose a couple in the run home

Ugle Hagan two kick one handball the way the commentators are carrying on you would think it is the second coming of Haydn Bunton

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

As the focus of the AFL moves exclusively to South Australia for Gather Round, the question is raised as to what are we going to get from the  Melbourne Football Club this weekend? Will it be a repeat of the slop fest of the last three weeks that have seen the team score a measly 174 points and concede 310 or will a return to the City of Churches and the scene where they performed at their best in 2024 act as a wakeup call and bring them out of their early season reverie?  Or will the sleepy Dees treat their fans to a reenactment of their lazy effort from the first Gather Round of two years ago when they allowed the Bombers to trample all over them on a soggy and wet Adelaide Oval? The two examples from above tell us how fickle form can be in football. Last year, a committed group of players turned up in Adelaide with a businesslike mindset. They had a plan, went in confidently and hard for the football and kicked winning scores against both home teams in a difficult environment for visitors. And they repeated that sort of effort later in the season when they played Essendon at the MCG.
