...and the Crows form continued from last week! Richmond are the side I’d least like to play come finals.

is the gc17-hawks game definitely happening this weekend now, is it?

apparently yes... at the SCG as I recall

I assume the Hawks were not allowed by Ana to go to Queensland

Not predicting many upsets this week.

giants might be a chance.

Carlton might surprise the swans

The Giants form has been solid. They're half a chance against the Lions.

The magpies pathetic season to lurch from bad to worst. Reckon the cats will belt them.

We win + Essendon and  Collingwood lose = great weekend.

Nothing like a commanding win over our nearest rivals to set the weekend up beautifully. I'm really looking forward to the rest of round knowing we're snared the 4 points and are sitting pretty on top.

Lions v Giants the game of the remaining round. Really hoping GWS can give Brisbane a few problems, perhaps soften them up a bit before we play them next week.

Seeing the pies get stomped on would be the cherry on top for me this weekend.

Agree, yet the odds are - Lions $1.20, Giants $4.60. Seems strange.

Prefer to see the lions win. Wounded animals are more dangerous.

Gee it would be nice to see Adelaide upset Richmond.

the nth saints game interests me. Imagine the heat on ratten if the sainters lose.

Blicavs and Cam Guthrie are out.

It feels so wrong wanting the Pies to win but at least someone will be barracking for them.

Every Collingwood supporter I speak to wants Buckley gone and fear a couple of meritorious wins will save him.

Giants and Freo wins would be nice not to mention a ten goal win to the mighty magpies

DJ wash your mouth out. I want them to lose well I don't care what it does to the cats ladder position.

Be interesting to see if the umps fall for Mathieson's tricks this week. I don't think he will be getting many frees.

He’s put himself firmly in the spotlight. Always a smart thing to do when you play a certain way..

These two games look sh!te already so I think I'll watch the replay again.

My thoughts exactly

Giants are completely switched off today. A 100 point belting on the way for them if they don't wake up soon.

the Storm game from Thursday night is worth a watch. With their injuries they were playing their back up players in most of the key positions.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
