It seems momentum changed since they swapped Jackson and Max.

100%

we tried something else around the ball and it worked

Well Demons fans we have been praying for years for our players to shift momentum in a quarter.

That was great to watch.

Whats the point ?

12 to 5 frres against us.

Fair shake of the sauce bottle.

I just want consistency.

12 to 5 and we are winning.

??????????

Brilliant fightback

So much possession for such little reward

Good fight back though

Bayley Fritsch is a coach killer ... really needs to get serious about the game

Now just [censored] win it

These "commentators" are sh##ING me!

St kilda are fantastic- reality MFC playing badly.

St kilda playing badly- MFC played to their potential!

What a bunch of sooks those St Kilda players are. Shaking their heads when they have been gifted so many dubious free kicks anyway. And they argue with the umpires. Give them a box of tissues.

Threatened to turn ugly but we turned it around. Been a while since we did that

Saints are there for the taking.

StKilda are dropping off at the last half of the quarter. I hope this continues. We are playing alright.

As Clint said, Jackson into the ruck was when the momentum switched. He follows up like a midfielder.

Salem great OLIVER unreal ,Kossi little champ ,Langdon great run ,Jetta very smart player

Kozzy is amazing

Jordan Lewis.
“Dees were too static off half back. Went to the skinny side to a contest too many times and the Saints won the ball. Dees had free players but didn’t use them. Now need to use the footy better”.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
