Good news for our home ANZAC Eve game - hopefully back up to 100% by then.

And hopefully they cancel this tickitec nonsense and we can sit in our reserved seats.

Can't see us leaving set seats/zones for the season.  So it'll be curious to see what the AFL do here. Guess too much effort to block out reserved seats from the system?

I doubt there'll be any GA tickets.

Given that the highest crowd to see a St Kilda V Melbourne game at Marvel was 40,000 in round 4 2005 (when we were 3-0) I think there will be GA available.

This match up usually attracts the high 20's and hardly any MFC fans bother showing up. I would assume 30,000 of St Kilda's 50,000 members will turn up at most, meaning there would still be 13,000 tickets up for grabs. I would be flabbergasted if 13,000 MFC members turn up to Marvel.

Unfortunately the ability to track who sat where is an integral part of the covid plan and is used to justify the large crowd numbers.

Certainly won't change before the bye but fingers crossed for the second half

Perhaps however sitting in your reserved seats will be allowed as they can be tracked

After that on I assume on Wednesday morning Melbourne members should get our shot, I think it's a member free for all, I didn't think they were doing priority access for the away team but don't quote me on that

I was close, it's a free for all to anyone who has a home and away membership. Everyone else will have to wait

It is the Danny Frawley Tribute Match so about between 30 and 33 could be possible now 40,000 are able to attend in the Covid mix.

But if you have reserves seats they know who and where. If your a member with non reserved seats then maybe they can make you acquire a seat the same with general public.

If there is a home and away member who wont be attending and can share their barcode with me it would be much appreciated. ?

I have my own but my friend who is coming with me doesnt have one and i can see a situation unfolding when it goes to general sale where it wont give me the option to use my membership for the general admin entry and having to pay the entry plus the seat upgrade

But you have to subtract the Medallion club seats as well.

Damn, only level 3 left ?

I was over the moon. I hate sitting down the bottom. Level 3, Coventry end, free, it's actually going to feel pretty normal this week.

Bit annoying that MCC/MFC premium - but only ‘home access’ - members can’t book now (10am-12pm slot) with their kids who have Junior MFC ‘home and away’ membership. Gotta wait until 1pm

So when I purchased a Home & Away Trident membership this year with guaranteed Level 2 seating, I was assured this would be for away games too, but now I can only get Level 3 seating or I have to pay an additional $38 for a Level 2 seat.

Is this how it usually works?

I have had H&A Trident for nearly 15yrs.  Away games are not guaranteed Level 2 seating, they are general admission entry, any upgrade you want is at your own cost.

I am a family Redlegs member home and away, had no problems last week with Ticketek.

Have been trying this morning with Ticketmaster for my x4 tickets since 10am and it keeps coming up with the message "Unfortunately, there are no entitlements available for this member code".  WTF?!

Have tried to contact Ticketmaster via phone etc and it is impossible.  Have Left a callback with the club as you are constantely put on hold and they don't have enough staff to answer on membership.

Completely ridiculous situation as a premium member and nobody can assist.  Will probably have to wait for the general admission sale and be charged money when I should be getting in for free.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
