Wait wasn't the evidence that Hogan wasn't smiling so he was going to leave us.

If Clarry is laughing, it means he won't leave us.

My god this club is literally disintegrating. Viney can't stand Oliver to the point where he will leave the state. It's obvious from the body language Max & Clarry are both off to the Suns.

Anyone notice that Clarry was wearing a carlton tie, and had a Simon Goodwin Voodoo doll on his table?

Plenty of times I've been in the same room as someone but in a different state.

It only took 34 pages, but this thread finally came good.

The 60 year old Bluebird dancer siting on his lap made me wonder also

I guess I needed to add the sarcasm emoji going by the reply's.

Word is Oliver and Viney don’t get along, some players fall behind jack but most follow Clarrie (now is that the kind of rumour you’re after? ?)

They can fight it out for midfield spots and challenge each other to get better

Carlton BF board absolutely lighting up at the moment with rumoured news that Oliver has requested to be traded to Carlton. Apparently from more than one poster with a good track record.

Say it isn’t so! ?

I wouldnt worry, apparently a couple picks, a handful of Carlton NQR players and Adam Saad going to the pre season draft will get it done.

Nothing in it:  Just someone on BF trying to distract posters from the bombshells SOS dropped yesterday.

haha, I liked that 4 team trade. They also quote the in the know posters who told them last year the papely was a done deal, they were splitting their picks sending one for papley, one for Martin but also got the hawks 1st this year.

Suggesting the Carlton equivelants of Jimmy Toumpas (Dow) and Dom Tyson (Kennedy) would be enough to replace Oliver on our end ?‍♂️

Definitely trying to distract for SOS dropping a nuke on the club. it's always hard to tell if it's Sour Grapes but i am inclined to believe him.

There will be no request today

Not sure if this implies that there may be a request later, just not today. Or if there won't be a request this year at all.

It’s a chance of happening but not convinced this year

We can back ourselves in to turn him around in 2021 like Sydney/Papley and Port/Wines did this year.

Clarry is becoming a little too petulant for my liking, and if he has been told some home truths which he doesn’t like, it says more about his attitude than anything else.

Of course i don’t want to see him go, in fact that would just about be it for me, but Trac this time last year wasn’t happy, but instead of getting bitter he got better and put in a mountain of work over the off-season.

Let’s see what Clayton is made of.

What exactly has oliver done that says he is getting petulant.

This year he’s started to sook it up a bit too much when things haven’t gone his way on the footy field.

Plus he has regressed over the past couple of years (apart from Trac who hasn’t?).

Like I said, he can get bitter or get better. I’d like to see him adopt a more ‘if it has to be then it’s up to me’ attitude, instead of a ‘I cannot be [censored]’ attitude. This team is rife with it at the moment.

Our best is good enough, they just can’t be arsed doing it for 4 quarters game on game. Clarry is definitely in this camp, and will have the biggest impact on team performance if he turns it around.

And don’t think i’m Being harsh on just Clayton, our skipper has lots of soul searching to do as well. That’s what separates good from great.

Regressed?

He's had a slightly down year on his lofty standards but he was still top 5 in a bunch of really key stats for the league as a midfielder, made the AA squad, finished top 10 in the brownlow and proabably was unlucky to not finish higher in our BnF i certainly would have had him a close third behind May.

I think he's totally justified to have found the HUB really hard, i think a lot of players from all teams did, frustrated that a list that should be playing finals has missed for the second year in a row.

I don't have any concerns at all about Clarries attitude, or his work ethic, or what he's delivered on field. he's still incredibly young, has had an amazing first 5 seasons that would be up there with any of the modern day champion players first 5 years.

He's a competitive animal, desperate to win, and i actually think it's a great thing players are annoyed about missing finals, so they should be. no excuses in 2021. if we don't make finals we will be getting a new coach, and losing players. but we have the list, especially with our prospective signings to bounce back strongly. and i'm backing Clarry to use this as fuel. i've made him my early 2021 brownlow tip.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
