Why not just go to "is Goodwin the right guy?"

At what point do we deem that thread redundant?

We spray everything but the goals from that pocket - Sydney goal no trouble.

Where is our vice captain Viney. Completely missing

Osac McDonald is so [censored] bad. Like seriously?! What the [censored] is he doing. Absolutely useless

what the hell is wrong with this club

Game over now.

I'm an [censored] and really gave us a small chance to kick four goals and get up.

Yes, I'll reiterate, that I'm an [censored].

Is the word i d i o t really censored?

Many of us called him to be dropped.

Bizarre coaching selection once again that he was kept in the side against a more nimble forward line.

Bizarre doesn’t start to begin the selection issues.

On reflection, is this a surprise?

Brown, Smith, Spargo, ANB, Oscar, Jones.

We’re carrying VFL standard for a third of the team.

Haha, yes, I mean the answer is no.

How so?

But even then, even if no breeze, we kicked a solitary goal in a whole quarter, which is poor.

And I guess if the breeze has dropped, there should be no impediment to us kicking 4 in the final quarter, right?

Gusting to 45kph at start now down to 17kph

Northern trade winds always drops off with dusk

He's [censored] woeful.

Oddly seems like it’s a Demons crowd. Maybe Cairns are budding for a team to relocate up there

bunch of prima donnas ,take the money and run

Still don’t get why Harmes is in the guts tagging one of their guns (Parker or Kennedy). But glad he kicked the goal.

So many incorrect disposals not paid

I think the club needs to send a formal apology to the city of Cairns for serving this trash.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
