Riewoldt is doing it to the player next to him as well. Unsure why that wasn’t also reported on.

I'm sure we all know why

Best spin I’ve seen since Warney’s leg breaks by Ward but hey, it’s the Dons.

As much as I hate the Bummers, I hope Ward gets a hefty fine for that effort... worse than Papley’s in as far as it directly impacted the result

God this is weird.  Id be surprised if Chol wasnt angry about it.  If anyone stuck their finger in my bum they'd be knocked out cold on the spot.  And I didnt even mentioned the constant penis grabbing.

I saw it when they sang the song last week and I thought how weird. What possesses another person to do that. But it has happened more than once. I mean if I'm Short or Vlastuin I'd look back and think why would I do that. Would I really want someone doing that to me. Just sing the song and be done with it. But I kind of like how Dimma got taken to task on it. I bet after the presser there was a bit of scrambling going on to see what happened.

It has not gone unnoticed

Big Footy board (general) has a lively discussion as does the Tigers sub forum

I noticed a post that it's now in the hands of the AFL integrity unit... (no I cannot comment)

Essendon losing no matter the margin always makes for a good weekend when it’s under a goal with a dodgy free kick just makes it a little sweeter.

Does Ward deserve a fine for his dive? I’m in two minds, I hate divers but I also love seeing Essendon lose after a dodgy free kick is paid against them.

And here's the Richmond apology...

Richmond's statement released later on Friday said: "It had become aware of some player behaviour during post-match team songs recently that is unacceptable and not in line with the club or community expectations."

"It was a stupid action and I am deeply embarrassed. I've apologised to Mabior," Vlastuin said.

"It was unacceptable behaviour and a poor example," Short said.

It’s been an interesting discussion post game on Fox ht. Ward himself said he played it well because he knew contact was coming. At first glance it looked like over exaggerating post contact.

Interesting to see if they do fine him, because if they do are they admitting an umpire error possibly cost a team the game? It can’t be a free and staging at the same time. I don’t necessarily blame the ump in this instant, it all happens quick out there.

A good ump would just put the whistle away and let the game play out.

There's not many of those around.

Close results aside that was an atrocious game.

It was played on the boundary line. Ball was out maybe 60-70% of the time. Strangely it was almost always on the camera side of the ground

Same for so many games.

I watched the F1 warm up (very boring) and then skipped through the game(kayo 30 second jump is wonderful).

Best of both worlds!

I don’t watch non MFC matches these days aside from the occasional Essendon match when they are a chance to lose. I stopped last night half through the 3rd when they were well up. Best start to the day to wake up this morning and find they got rolled.

(My other guilty pleasure is Scully leaving Melbourne when we were [censored], going to a [censored] GWS and finally settling on a [censored] Hawthorn. Yes I know he is filthy rich)

Sack Goodwin.

Ward free was there

Russian judge gave him an 8.8 for the pirouette midair

It was definitely there - hip to neck - but he did make the most of it.

The thing that scares me about the run home is we are playing our classic bogey teams  (North, Pies, St Kilda, Doggies).

We seem to always lose to them no matter how well we are traveling.  Especially bloody North and the Saints.

That's assuming of course, that all of those teams above us from 5th to 11th lose their games - signed, The Wet Blanket ?

Doggies losing today would help our cause.   The other 3 teams playing today are irrelevant to us, they will all finish top 4.   Just need the Lions to get the job done.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
