At 2.50c per month who cares !!!!

Please !!

You might not be saying that in 6 months, government can only fund jobsave, and other things, for another 6 to 12 months, if covid19 goes beyond 12 months, no one will have a job., At this point the sick will be left to die. In the USA they already have people with no money to buy food.

Could you show me how to get Kayo with these reductions in subscriptions? Or if that offer now over?

It's been more than 2 months since they offered this subscription at a special price for 2 months so I'm not sure the offer is still available.

The offer was valid until April 9. I suspended Foxtel and took up the deal, not bad for $5 for 2 months but prefer the traditional Foxtel IQ4. Went back to it when the season started up again and got a good deal on the base package with sports.

not that I support betting companies but if you open a Bet Easy account (no money required) you can then get 3 months free Kayo.

I have read of people refreshing their subs by opening a new account with a different email address

Austrian formula 1 (second round) on this weekend....magnificent location

Still on traditional Foxtel, flirting with leaving to save money.

Like the ease of traditional foxtel and the fact there is no stream delay.

But will probably shift sign up for Kayo and Foxtel Now (or Binge) in the coming weeks.

Foxtel will probably hold off 4K to Kayo tho which is annoying (but fair enough from a business POV)

The tech whizzes say that because live sport has a high refresh rate the bandwidth required for 4k is at present untenable. It works for Netflix etc because they can buffer or similar.

Hopefully they work out some new compression systems.

On a positive note I have noticed that my pictures from kayo rarely if ever break up this year while last year it was a minor annoyance particularly with AFL.

I pay $30 a month for IQ4 with basic entertainment pack and HD sports (with 4K). I just keep it for the footy season then suspend it until the start of the next season. When the Binge app is available on Samsung TV’s I might look at that and then get Kayo for next season if they have a deal. If Kayo is $25, I’d prefer IQ4 at the price I’m currently paying.

Benefit of kayo is you can split a sub - $25 lets you watch on 2 devices simultaneously so you can split with a friend, $35 for 3 devices so a little over $10 a month each

I switched to Kayo last month. If you have internet from Telstra you can get 12mths of Kayo for $15 a month. I've been very impressed so far. Picture quality is very good. Love the fact you don't have to record anything they have. It's always immediately available. Some good tools like Match Highlights so you can use the toolbar to go to each goal scored etc. Can go straight in and watch from live or from the start. Only minor issue is that the streaming rate means that some movement like the ball through the air has minor microsecond drop outs so it looks like its pulsing. I've got used to that now and hardly notice it.

$15 a month sounds pretty good. When Binge becomes available on Samsung TV’s I might switch from Foxtel to Kayo and get Binge.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
