Angus Brayshaw speaking on SEN about Max Gawn's status:

It's hard to pin the big fella down. He's a bit non-committal. It's a hard injury for him to get through. If he plays this week will it help or hinder him in the long run? I've tried to get it out of him but he hasn't given me anything yet.

Looks like Max is gorne this week.

I understand indefinite for KK due to his concussion issues, but whats with the indefinite next to Petty and Hore.

Hurts to see Luke Jackson on there..  imagine him growing into the season while the team is purring along.  We'd be unstoppable!

Makes you wonder what kind of training they were doing to ping the hammy that bad.

"Fellow ruckman Luke Jackson (hamstring) is on track in his rehab, with a Round 18 return on the cards for the 18-year-old."

Someone's optimistic....?

Injury List: Round 15

Michael Hibberd (ankle) –  test
Luke Jackson (hamstring) –  3 weeks
Tom Sparrow (collarbone) –  3 weeks
James Jordon (finger) –  3 - 5 weeks
Marty Hore (quad) – indefinite
Harry Petty (groin) – indefinite
Kade Kolodjashnij (head) – indefinite
Aaron Nietschke (knee) – season

Personally I’d be resting Hibberd, bring in either Lockhart or Jetta to cover the small forward role and move Rivers into Hibberd’s position.

Luke Jackson running in that footage,  and on track to return vs Essendon according to Burgess.    Huge!

The prospect of Jackson fit and back for the Dons game and finals is great news. Is a wild card, and would Have us at as close to full strength come finals...

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
