yes they were doing pretty well but I really think the 2018 draft has left us with nothing in the short term and who knows longer term.

 

They will get a real good look at it this year though. have to strike some gold.

Even if Goodwin were only contracted for 1 more year we would not be moving him on.

You'd probably have been on the sack Bomber (2006) and sack Hardwick (2016) bandwagons too. Clearing out the assistants and restructuring does not necessarily reflect on the future prospects of the senior coach.

Roos, im told, gave Goody quite some largesse  to appoint 'his' crew. He would have afforded anyone that ability. Had it been Dew they both knew who that  crew would have been. That never transpired  obviously  and the rest is history  .

I think Simons season of appointments  have come to a close

As to Jennings not getting on with Macca...he would have a few mates there .

Surely the precedence set by Collingwood and Richmond shows that all senior coaches need time in the chair and exposing them and the players to new assistant coaches with new ideas is nothing but a good thing.

It is clearly a reflection of the disfunction/failure of our present coaching set up - against what many of the happy clappers have been saying. I think I have worked out what camp you're in.
