Didn't realise Brayshaw and Oliver were late outs?

I swear to god they didn’t touch the footy this game.

We are stuffed. We look completely devoid of any confidence and poise. Lost all our contested ball winning aggression. This season looks gone.

Jones is finished. I’m sorry mate but if you can’t snap for goal on your left from 40 out and even get it to the goal square then it’s time to move on.

I've lost my stream but sounds like they're out of sorts

Poor mental strength. It's either 'panic stations' or if they've managed to put together some nice play for a while it's 'all good now, so let's ease off'

Is Viney playing?

Nah, haven’t seen the real Jack for nearly three years now.

This is going to turn ugly, we are now playing without a midfield.

Still not winning ball at the contest. Where's the hardness gone ?

Swans get 3 soft goals due to our fumbling turnovers. Max keeps putting it down Swans players throats in the middle & who is playing on Alir Alir? Make him accountable FFS.

We don't have any players that have penetration in their snaps for goal.

There fixed it.

Mids need to lift.  No doubt about it.

On the flip side we took our chances when we were presented with them.  We haven't done that at all this season, so that was good to see.

Our two way running still needs work, especially with their run and carry from half back.  We aren't playing well, but plenty of players can improve.  Not over yet.

He’s doing a lot of faux tough guy fighting.

We have awful leadership.

Sydney's highest score in 12 games is 93... we give up 34 [censored] points in a quarter. Hore and Fritta only two defenders that can hold their head high

Our intensity is gone. Our midfield is shot. Our season is on a knifes edge here.

We look a bit scared again. Don't want contact and crapping ourselves and going to ground constantly.

Hate to say it but we've reverted to type this season...back to the bruise free Demons. Last year was an aberration on the physicality front (even then it wavered at times).

Seriously..... we just chip the ball into the 50 with no attempt to spot anyone up... no leads! Can’t understand it.

Horrible start to this game.

Pruess, Max and Hore look ok... that’s about it so far ?

Posted

Letting Sydney score 5 goals for the quarter when they look as rubbish as we do. Well done.

How long does someone get to correct how easily we get scored against?

Reckon Roos would take the job again?

Posted

They have almost 110 touches to quarter time. Double ours.

They have 13 shots on goal from 17 entries. 9 scores from 17 entries.

They have double our uncontested possessions.

They have 13 more contested possessions.

Despite having so much more of the ball, they have laid as many tackles.

That was an annihilation.

To be fair, the kick was on his non-preferred, so it's to be expected.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
