joeboy 3,193 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 (edited) Viney - obviously not ready Jones - embarrassing and costly Salem - our ONLY winner Jetta - loose and slow Hibberd - disposal was abysmal O. McDonald - no redeeming component Frost - a total liability Petracca - still looks overweight T. McDonald - no second efforts Weidemann - overrated and underwhelming Spargo - has a brain Oliver - rarely advantaged us Brayshaw - possessions without purpose Harmes - tried but limited Gawn - was easily overcome Hunt - far from convincing Neal-Bullen - laughably our fittest Sparrow - not the worst Fritsch - just some cameos Melksham - not as fluent Hoare - lacked game awareness Wagner - not the answer Edited March 23, 2019 by joeboy 6 Quote

Forest Demon 4,681 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 One of Spargo's main jobs is to apply defensive pressure. While watching the game, I noticed he was all arms and was constantly brushed aside. I just checked the stats and my eyes didn't lie, he applied 0 tackles. 3 1 Quote
Forest Demon 4,681 Posted March 23, 2019 Posted March 23, 2019 And this isn't a direct knock on Spargo, as he is a 19 year old kid making his way, but you take Spargo out for someone like Vandenberg, and that adds a considerable amount of strength and defensive presence to the team. Hopefully he is back sooner rather than later. 1 Quote

Expand Sorry loges, but you're only starting to realise this? They are only made to look half decent by our midfield. When we fail there, like we did today, they are exposed big time. OMAC is a more uncoordinated version of Garland (which i previously thought impossible) Frost is simply a dumb footballer, with loads of athleticism that is let down by his mere stupidity. The frightening thing is, he doesn't play to his strengths but his weaknesses. 1 Quote
