Word is he wants to go to Geelong. That, plus I rate Hannan ahead of him.

Me too. But im thinking he's more of your wing that replaces JKH or Tyson on form while in team, pushes Jones into defence. Or covers for HF/wing for form drops or injury to our 22 next year.. and is replaced by our depth while invariably injured for hopefully only 5ish games. Maybe with concussion issues we can follow the Gus rehab model.

If geelong then no big deal, he's your cream on cake type player, dont think geelong need him or theyre fooling themselves.

Edit: if Rohan recaptured his best form it would be a massive win for pick 50ish or a JKH

Don't want at all, would be a downgrade on JKH

in honour of the cheeseboard, Rohan is as stinky for the club as a good Limburger...

Good god no! One of the worst footballers to ever reach 100 games.

Soft as they come.

Leave on same pile as Daniel Menzel and, dare I say it, Jack Watts.

Interesting player, does some fun things, not what we need.

Injury prone, that's a big no from me.

That is the major concern with him, second to his inconsistency.  Has always had enormous talent and is a freak athlete.

He isn't soft.

I'm in the minority here but I actually think he'd be an upgrade on Hannan, plus he can play down back as well.

But I'm probably not interested because we don't need more players who are 20th best on the list, we need to spend resources trying to find more quality.

We do have quite a number out of contract so maybe we replace 1 or 2 of them with a flyer on someone like Rohan but if it's going to cost anything in terms of trade or salary it's not worth it. Keep guys like JKH or Kent instead.

He does not show the same physical attributes and forward tackling pressure like Hannan.

Hannan also wins the ball and stands up in big games.

Give me Hannan, then delight, then Rohan..

I think he's faster than Hannan and a better tackler, that's why I'd want him to be a supersized version of Jeffy. Hannan's a better mark and a craftier forward. I like Mitch, but I'm also always concerned he follows a good game with a down game with minimal impact, his Eagles game was a return to the promise he showed last year and at times this year, if he can produce similar more often he'll go right up in my evaluations.

No, is often injured and has plenty of single figure possession games when he does play.

Gary Rohan is a nothing footballer.

He doesn't get much of it and doesn't do anything with it when he does. Any team with Rohan in it is effectively playing with 17 on the field.

Not sure about better tackler.. i put him in the same vein as Garlett.. sticks out one hand etc.. where's Mitch tackles and tackles with prupose and drive.

Ask any Swan supporter and they'll say Rohan is as inconsistent as they come. They're celebrating in style now that hes requested a trade back home.

In what way is he a better tackler DS? Over their careers Hannan averages more tackles per game.

Career numbers are pretty similar. I just think he's a heavier, stronger and more reliable.

Career numbers? Hannan is only 30 games into his career

Upgrade on Handgun Hannan? as the famous John McEnroe once echoed "You cannot be serious man, you cannot be serious".

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
