This would have taken a fair bit of energy out of the swans. Thank [censored] that Johnson came back this week and that feel good factor is not in play against the Dees.

Man I wish pies had of won tonight. Swans and buddy get their confidence back. Makes it a lot harder for us to make the 8

Pies will get to 14 wins with their soft draw.

It is entirely 100% in our hands as to where we finish - even second, with double chance and home finals is possible .... in fact WILL happen if we win all our games.

So ...no excuses.

Super round of footy so far.

If anything, this round should be proof positive that we should fear no team in the competition.  Swans might have fallen over the line tonight, but I think the win paper's over their cracks.

Well... what a finish, I think this year will be as tantalising as last year - we’ll lose to GWS miraculously and hate all of our close losses for it...!

but we have a sniff’

Great chance to be 4th at end of round, as long as we don't screw the pooch. Massive game next week if we win tomorrow. Come on Dees. ?

How good has this round of footy been? Damn.

First round in VFL/AFL history where 5 games decided by under a goal.

As long as we beat the Swans. Possibly one of WCE & GWS. And obviously the Suns.

It should never be easy to make the Top 4.

It’s time RIGHT NOW for the MFC to get serious

The filth nearly won with a depleted squad. I am nervous about next week but watching the swans they look terrible. We can move into 4th tomorrow so lets see if we can keep it.

We could conceivably be playing GWS for a top 2 spot in round 23.

Think this is the first time ever that a round has had 5 games decided by less than a goal.

Think how many TV's would have had coffee cups or bottles put through them.???

And I see no reason why we can't be doing that.  The Eagles in Perth will be tough, but I think we can match them on the day.

If Kennedy is out we stand a very good chance.

If we want to win a flag this year, the Sydney win was the perfect result for us.
If we just want to Bradbury our way to an extra footy game this year, well then bad luck.

lol Franklin or not, Sydney are still terrible.

Collingwood literally has no backline with Dunn, Scharenberg & Howe.

Of course a champion was going to kick a bag.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
