Check out the unbelievable biased commentary in the Ade WC game. Just amazing

After watching the top teams last couple of weeks no one is touching Richmond this year will win the flag quite easily

Someone please advise me as to who to barrack for. I'm assuming that a West Coast loss gives us a better chance at the top four but an Adelaide loss solidifies our position in the eight. I don't really look at other team's draws (out of laziness) other than it would be good to play an Adelaide team that's shut up shop.

Same with Hawthorn versus GWS I guess.

Because playing a Collingwood team that shut up shop last year favoured us greatly

If Adelaide lose it will make it tough for them.  They have Richmond (away) followed by Geelong (home) coming up.  Plus they play us, Port, GWS and North on the run home so would have to cause a few upsets to make it.

I think I want the Eagles to win this.  I'd prefer to create separation with the chasing pack than hope for an unlikely top 4 finish.

More like impossible, or close enough to.  They'd likely need to win their last 8 games. That isn't happening.

Just like that....Crows in front. All over the Eagles.

Interesting to see if Meth Coke win a game without Kennedy and Darling in the side

they are completely toothless in this last Quarter

Three straight losses for West Coast.

Now in danger of missing the 8  after  a 10-1 start.  I never rated them.

The modern day North?

How on earth did we lose to Port ??

One could also ask how did CFC get so close to Port or how did Port allow CFC to get so close?  After all we beat them by 109!

And the WCE are in a decent slump.

That rendition of the Adelaide song by the players just now has to be the worst singing of a club song by any sporting organisation EVER. Cringeworthy and soulless.

I feel sick

Listening to Walker being interviewed after the game has made me feel sick. He is a repugnant specimen.

I have just realised that the filth could go into 2 place after tonight. Won't that be horrendous.

Starting this thread early as it's shaping for a big weekend ladder wise and for the Dees. Who do we want to win these crunch games

Rich v Syd (THURS)

- I hope Tigers win, we don't want any interstate teams in the top 4. ✔️✔️

WB v Cats

- Cats are definitely not playing their best this year and Dogs played OK v North and you don't know what they'll bring. A Dogs win hopefully✔️✔️

Carl v Port

- Carlton played well yesterday and Port aren't as good as people reckon, they actually played awful v Dees and we still found a way to lose. Upset highly unlikely but game is at the MCG.✖️

Adel v WCE

- Can the Crows at home upset a vulnerable WCE?✔️✔️

GC v Coll

- Collingwood win easily

GWS v Haw

- Hoping GWS win, Hawks are zoning in on a top 8 finish

Melb v STK

- We need to win and win big, keep that percentage up, 50+ win would be nice

Ess v North

- I think Bombers will win this, North doing their usual start the season well and folding this year I'd say, Ess win helps us.

Few results going our way. There is such a thing as luck maybe

Pies will likely jump to 2nd spot on the ladder tonight. How sickening!

I really feel like Richmond will slip back to the pack in rounds 18-23 and not have great form come September, no idea why just a hunch.

It's quite amazing really teams 1-10 all possibilities to win the flag.

I would put adelaide into that group as they are still to get some strong players back but I think it might just be a bridge to far from here to make the 8

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the team’s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourne’s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season. There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight. Since that game, the Demons’ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where they’ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?

  • POSTGAME: Geelong

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.
