He’s definitely pro St Kilda for this game. Didn’t he coach them for a while? Might have a soft spot similar to when Roos commentates us

That commentary where he hoped McCartin was ok was fair enough in his concerns but how Jetta didn’t get some love for his courage is beyond me

He is so anti-Melbourne it is almost laughable. You can guarantee, without fail, each of his 'contributions' to the commentary is a negative comment about Melbourne.

Deeluded??? Is this the real Deeluded?

I noticed this too, but think he is more pro Saints than anti Melbourne

Watson has always been anti melbourne. Another interesting one to watch is Bartel.

He openly barracked for the Saints today on more than one occasion.

And he'll go home a disappointed man!

I haven’t noticed him being anti-Melbourne, but he’s certainly anti-Oscar McDonald.

Bartel he's a piece of work that pip squeak. Did you hear his comments the other week "Everyone is saying its Melbourne's turn to win a premiership, i don't know why everyone is saying it, it's not their turn" or words that effect.

He's a yes man no opinions of his own.

Watson he's a tool, wasn't he a great coach lol. absolute [censored] of the highest order.

Watson = [censored]

Essendon = Flogs

See the connection?

Yep, it was blatantly obvious today. Didn't have a good word to say about us at all.

At one point Watson used the word 'we' when referring to the Saints.

At least Watson knows details about players, not like Taylor, was aware of seriousness of Trac's finger situation

Coached them , his nephew plays for them but didn't think it was as bad as what we put up with in the west with Badil Syphilis

Bartel’s comments were spot on, it’s no ones turn, it’s earnt.

Watson is a Hird and Thompson apologist. His son also got stripped of a Brownlow due to drug cheating. At this point in time he isn't getting much right, I'm ok if he doesn't like MFC. As for Bartel, he has always been very sulky. Good player, great to watch, probably knows his football, but just a sulky type.

Forgive my ignorance... who’s his nephew??

They have to get Watson off the air waves, the things he is trying to discuss are way off the mark and irrelevant.

#Dinosaur#Essendrugmouthpiece

Who cares what this drug cheat sympathizer says or thinks, hes irrelevant

There's no doubt that Bartel is anti Melbourne. The other week when PJ (or Bartlett?) said we'd trashed our brand Bartel said that wasn't possible because we didn't have a brand to trash.

  • CASEY: Richmond

    The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace.They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
