Bugg handballs to a player undee pressure at 50, Oliver jandballs over his jead to 3 hawks players instead of a kick.

So dumb

I'm sorry but bugg is the dumbest footballer and tbh, if he is going to play like this, i prefer he play like a pest.... he brings nothing but his stupid haircut currently

Bugg is killing us

Punishing quarter. Hopefully we’re at the right side this quarter. We need to score a goal soon. All these missed kicks are killing us

Oscar has improved enormously, can’t deny that. A very solid defender now

Needs to start attacks now he is growing in his footy.  We need a defence that rebounds.

Like watching a slow train wreck

Who knows what the next half will bring.

The only good thing one can say about that quarter is that we missed some easy ones

Lewis recommends  at halftime they keep handballing.Obviously because he sure cant kick.

Well this is the dumbest quarter of the year.

Bugg has no [censored] idea. At all. And an uncanny knack of his fumbles never ever luckily going our way. Seen enough.

This has to be one of the dumbest overall displays in a long time. Bunch of fumbly idiots over handballing in the wet. Then when they do kick it’s dinky sideways [censored] that skims along the grass.

Goodwin needs to correct this, now.

It wouldn't be a Melbourne game without a ZERO GOAL QUARTER now would it?

Holy [censored] this club just doesnt get it.

I’m OK with Bugg never putting on the Melbourne guernsey again.

Bugg is truly awful. I don’t care if he kicked 14 last week, he is not AFL quality and the quicker he goes the better our team will be.

Apalling skill level.Goodwin is definitely kidding himself if they have improved

Thing is, we are the better team and up to our eyeballs in it but we have so many players who think they are playing dry football. Others think they are Martin and can break 5 tackles.

frustrating as hell  I fear its all lost  blowing a good early lead.  Improved from last year..  I think not!!!!

Bugg and Lever are killing us.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
