Do you have any recollection of how Brown has torn up our defence in recent times? Fairly blanket comment by you that factors in nothing in regards to OMACs strength vs weakness Absolutely need to stop any easy delivery to Brown - he would one on one beat most defenders if he gets it put in front of him. We can only hold him down with a team effort. 2 Quote
dees189227 12,512 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 (edited) I know it's a bit late but havent had a chance to get near a computer but good on Adelaide for making sure Rance played 1 on 1 footy and had to have an opponent to look after rather than just let him do what he does best. Yes he had a good 2nd half but he was made accountable in the 1st half and I hope other clubs do this. Should we be throwing money at Lynch? Edited March 31, 2018 by dees189227 Quote
buck_nekkid 6,101 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 I spy 4 teams that are shyte. (Roos, Blues, Suns and Saints). I expect to add Collngwood and FRE to the list before the weekend finishes (and hopefully a trounced Lions too!). If you took an international guest to either of the games at Etihad, you would have to apologise pretty hard. Expect the saints will bounce back, suns will develop, blues will pinch a few. No easy games this year. Quote

Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Two absolute shockers back to back from Etihad. Lynch the only one worth watching. Quote
brendan 3,458 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 I never did get all the Carlton hype after their loss last week Quote

You can only beat the teams you go up against and so far they’re looking pretty good. Quote
dl4e 5,851 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Carl and GC is a dreadful game ( not as bad as yesterdays though ) where they continually turn it over by foot and tackling pressure is near zero. Quote
Ethan Tremblay 31,388 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 (edited) Surely the Honeymoon period is now over for Bolton, he should start copping a bit of heat now. Edited March 31, 2018 by Ethan Tremblay 1 Quote

No way. Carlscum are full of young stars that will take them to a 3peat. Their supporters told me that so it must be true. 1 3 Quote
Adam The God 30,730 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Carlton are terrible, particularly without Kruezer, but the pressure that the Gold Coast midfield and forwardline have brought is what we need to emulate. It's Richmond-like. We were nowhere near this last week. We need to bring it all year. Quote

Jibroni 5,057 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 The Suns are much better than last season, albeit Carlton we porridge today. 1 Quote

Guest Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Ironically, losing Gary Ablett may have cured the Suns of their individualistic culture. Rocket did a lot of the cleaning out but Stuie Dew clearly had them playing brilliant pressure football. Two boil overs in two days. Melbourne be wary tonight! Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,773 Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 Not many orange people here at the MCG. Not many of anybody in fact. Half the ground is still reserved seating so the pies make money. Go orange men. It will be so nice watching the pies go down.... I hope Quote
McQueen 17,867 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Oh dear that was absolutely terrible for young Phillips. Broken leg kicking the goal post. Quote

Adam The God 30,730 Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 (edited) New favourite commentator. Nick Riewoldt. Insightful, thoughtful. He's dominating this commentary team at the G and they're throwing to him regularly. Edited March 31, 2018 by A F 1 Quote
